Walker has been awful. Poor marking, poor decisions, poor attitude. He made one good run and that was it. He's not even half the player he was last year. As much as I'd like the old Walker back, I'd be happier finding a replacement.

Dempsey seems to have the same problem and yes he's changed clubs, but that shouldn't affect your ability to shoot.

We were lucky to get a point. Especially when so many decisions went against us. The referee should miss games for that poor attempt at refereeing.

Wonder why on earth Dempsey was allowed to finish this game.

I'm guessing because he didn't want to take off an attacking player as we didn't have another one on the bench. Ceballos isn't as advanced a player as Dempsey I don't think.

Completely agree.

Not sure why he thought Tommy Carroll coming on with 3 minutes to go and Dembele off would do something.

Too afraid to make changes and it cost us.

2 points dropped. Everton were there for the taking.

I mean, even ADE was back on form, bloody waste it was.

AVB piss poor.

Welcome the neg reps.

Dembele would have been able to have come up with some magic.

What did Hudd do? Slow down even more than Parker and Walker and Dempsey and every other slow player we have.

Couldn't be bothered to run. Stupid decision.

I don't think that's true at all. Everton were really sitting back and we couldn't find a way though so Hudd - who can pick a good, clever, accurate pass - made sense to bring on. I'd have kept Mousa on and made the swap for Parker but I think anyone slagging off Hudd based on today needs an eye test.

Also? Fans booing at WHL at our subs? I'm so ashamed of you, get out.:(

If Sunderland hold out, which we all know they won't, that goal from Sigurdsson could be one of the most valuable this season. In a way, Everton not losing means they still have something to play for when they play Arsenal and Chelsea. I know its not much of a consolation, but it's something to think about.

I don't want to see Dempsey playing in a Spurs shirt again. Never again.

Hudd was only able to play because there was so much space in midfield, we can't use him in any other circumstance; we know this. We have a wealth of historical evidence....

Exactly, whereas Carroll has aleady shown in glimpses that he his comfortable taking the ball in tight situations and making something happen.

I think we are all in unison over Dempsey though - an appalling footballer and must be moved to pastures new in the summer.

Walker did his best to throw away a point.
It's very unfortunate, but the guy is just too irrational to play that position. He can have a great day like today and play excellently overall, but then a moment of typical madness by him and can throw away a whole game.

Just can't have that in the starting eleven if we want to be at the very top.

We need a right back in the summer.

Ceballos is a number 10/ wide forward is he not?

Honestly we'd be better off playing 5 at the back instead of having Dempsey on the pitch today.

The problem with Walker is that he is all pace and no footballing brain.

Fair result.

If we'd have taken Dempsey off for carroll at the beginning of the second half we'd have won imo.

Bad day at the office for AVB in that respect.

And I love the bloke, but got it wrong today by a country mile.

Loved the attitude of the players though, was fantastic for it being after a thurday game so AVB did do a great job of motivating them for this.

Spot on.

Have to admit to being a bit skeptical about Carroll, but he was very impressive today. Plenty of ambitious passes that are exactly what we need to open games up.

Poor decision by AVB, but as you say, at least he's managed to motivate the team.

We've definitely lost 3rd to the gooners in my opinion, so if Chelsea draw, or even better, lose, today won't be too bad in the grand scheme of things.

Oh well. Disappointing that we couldn't win but you have to take the point considering the way the game was going. Don't think we'll get top 4, we certainly won't finish above Arsenal, but a Chelsea draw or defeat today would be most welcome.

What I'd give for Sandro back as much as Bale and Lennon right now. We played well I think but undone by our own defensive fuck-ups again.
