Wow he took a player on, once, amazing. No one can deny that Lennon could be twice the player he is if he consistantly took his man on rather than cut back inside and played an easy ball. He has improved on that this season but to me he seems the least naturally confident footballer I've ever seen, if he had a touch of Ronaldo's arrogance he'd have had the right winger spot in Englands team nailed down for years by now

I doubt Holtby's come from a team in a strong league that's just growing stonger every year and that's reguarly in Europe to sit on our bench

Moutinho starting on the bench this evening for Porto. Don't know if that means anything, perhaps being kept safe from injury?

I saw that tweet from @marksearlegolf - have since searched for the Porto team and there's no mention of it. The game doesn't kick off till half 8 so its unusual for team news to get out so early.

Either he's got a source that's told him that, or he's guessing.

Twitter is indeed saying Moutinho is on the bench. And to be honest, i thought with my heart over my head at first, then realised twitter is full of Piers Morgans. Fat, lying, attention seekers.

But then again, it doesnt help that im incredibly gullible. You could tell me my wife was dead, and id probably believe you.

And im not even married.

He is actually on the bench, along with Martinez and Rodriguez. They're playing a pretty poor team and have Benfica next week so it looks like they've just rested their top players. Shame.

Scratch that - i've been mugged off.

*Post edited as it was set on a false premise (Moutinho not starting). The twittersphere had been going mad over that for the past half hour or so and now it turns out it's not even true. What a kerfuffle over nothing lol
