No Benzema or Diarra in the derby. Shame if Harry went there to take a look at them.

jose really doesnt seem to fancy Benzema. he's moaning to his board that he doesnt have any strikers, but has shunned him the last two games. not even resting any of his front line second half against v poor atletico team for him!

Benzema's on the bench ... and the player that Madrid wouldn't dare play as the lone striker (Ronaldo) is playing ... UPFRONT on his own.

Give me strength, Hulk is strong

I thought it was Harry that was meant to be in Spain though and not Levy?

Hulk would be an obvious alternative to Suarez as he plays that same wide/inside forward role.

if we were really that far advanced with suarez, it would have been picked up by the journo's.........they are all talking about the bin dippers, so i fear peanuts info is probably correct

After all the fuss over Surez by us and Liverpool, you watch he will end up signing for someone like Madrid or Inter

I thought he was disagreeing with our presence in Spain, not Holland?

At this stage of the window I would be surprised if we really shut the door on any opportunity, be it with Suarez or whoever.

We know we need a new striker and just because we haven't bundled Suarez or anyone else into a black cab and brought them to N17 today does not mean we won't do come the end of the window.

I think it's also the selling clubs and the players that like to see which way the wind is blowing at the tail end of the window which is why so much can be done late on, not just because that's our way.

I have faith we will bring someone in, regardless of what ITK we get over the next few days.

I cannot believe for a moment that Harry, Levy and the dead fish are actively pursuing no one. I think these peanuts are ready salted

Yep. I actually prefer the thought of Hulk coming but, with all the stuff with his up released clause and him being in good form makes it just seem a bit unlikely.

when asked if we were interested in any strikers, Peanut said
Yeah a few but for various reasons it's very difficult.

Harry wants someone who can play up front on their own - lead the line, hold the ball up, link up with vdv, modric etc and with the pace and movement to get on to through balls and stretch defences. And goal a shedload of goals. Not many who fit the criteria who are available and realistic.
