Note to self, when hiring a prostitute whilst on a weekend in Amsterdam, never again ask her to "sit on my face" in a 'shilly dutch akshent'

OK time is shorter than Jose Dominguez so we rip straight into it with some Groundhog Day ITK that had some more meat on its bones.......

like i said yesterday, both pav & keane have been told they will be allowed to leave....

they have been given the green light to make choices but have also been left in no doubt that we are actively looking to sign a new striker/s so they would be better off leaving.....

sunderland want both, & would pay spurs valuation.....

going against the grain i have been told the club are willing to sign a striker before either have gone.....the finance is available & they know the valuation they need to meet for both suarez & fabiano.....

basically keane & pav are not being rushed YET.....but we are quite likely to change tact & buy to force their hand....its a little change in policy i think, we are going to speculate a bit...

birminghams offer was accepted for keane even though the club knew they would never come up trumps.....it was done to shake the snakes out of the b ag for keane, everyone knows what we want for him now....

we have agreed a sum that we would need to pay for suarez & ajax....we know what they want....the next week will be very interesting!

dont be shocked if at some point we have, pav, crouch, suarez/fabiano, keane & defoe all on our books......for a short time:wink:

I reserve the right to be shocked.

Then this about Pav...........

No bid accepted yet but he is Sunderland's number 1 target. There will be movement on this in the next few days.

Speaking of movements...........

I was having a pretty big shit last night, one of those that makes you think you're actually giving birth and at the highest point of struggle to drop it out, my mrs accidentally turned off the light in the toilet.

Immediately I started to scream like crazy, she turned it back on and asked through the door "what's the matter, are you alright"?

With a huge relief, I replied: "Nothing, I'm fine, I just thought my eyes popped out".

The adiepf with more about Suarez........

It's happening!

eurocoy then threw this into the mix..........

We have made a big move for Rossi. Papers will have it tomorrow.
Relax guys it's a mistake. He's on about Francis Rossi. Now that Chas & Dave have split up we've been looking for someone new to pen quaint Spurs songs and it seems Status Quo fit the bill. Gertcha.

Scutch then whored this from the newly restored COYS. Welcome back guys.

Money has been put on the table and we have people out there now. Anyone fancy two south Americans? I understand we have four on the table and it may be a case of two out two in.

Which naturally prompted the question, any idea who?

Rossi - we have scouted him in the past but he is not a target.

No bids have been accepted for Suarez, both us and Liverpool are way off Ajax on the valuation.

Fabiano says he wants to go to Juventus and we may turn attention to other targets in case we can't do a deal for Suarez.
Fabiano wants to go to Juve? Good news!

eurocoy then told us something of the working of PL transfers

We want to give Sunderland Pav.They want Crouch. He chose us over them but now they want him big time.Harry won't sell and is trying to palm them off with Pav.
The bartering system!

Then peanut on Suarez.............

Never say never (until he signs for someone else) but we're looking elsewhere now.
The helter-skelter goes down again.........

adiepf then told us that we have people on the ground, in the ground and all around...........

this is what i know as of 23:50pm.....i will make it plain & simple

darren eales is in holland & is negotiating with ajax regards luis suarez....bindippers have reps in holland also...

daniel levy is in spain tonight working on another deal (rossi or fabiano...even hulk) i dont know....

daniel levy treats every penny of spurs money like a million dollar bill & harry redknapp obviously feels that there is not much between these 4 (im saying 4, again i will reiterate i have heard nothing on hulk)

liverpool have not agreed any deal for suarez as of now....therefore we are actively still amongst it
If we sign Hulk then I move that we also poach Captain America to play alongside him.

This also appeared in the thread yesterday......

Eek Each to their own of course but in the toilets in the West Stand at WHL? And we all thought it was all prawn sandwiches.

We had friends around for drinks the other night and I was totally pissed. I walked up to my wifes mate and said, "Duck my sick!"
She said, "You're drunk - don't you mean suck my dick?"
I puked on her and said... "No!"

Surely the home of all things ITK is worthy of a donation or two?

Every small donation toward the upkeep of SC is appreciated. Click on the link and part with the price of a packet of condoms, every bit does make a difference!

Looking forward to another hectic day of ITK and wearing out my refresh button on my Keyboard.. my thoughts for this morning...
Beginning to worry that our "negotiations" or games of "brinkman" ship will backfire with regards to our striking targets. From what I've read, I am left with no doubt that a striker is our main priority (whoever it may be), and only one that will improve the team - as Redknapp has stated. Now obviously I am only commenting on what has been put in the papers, or stated by ITK's, but the protracted "haggling" or "negotiating" back and forth with regards to the price of our targets could once again, see us left empty handed in the forward department come close of the window, or*left with what would not be our first choice option.*I know its not as easy as just*picking up the phone, asking how much a player*would cost and then stumping up the cash... but*I think we need*to do business much faster*to ensure that a) we are not gazumped b) we dont drop any more points due to*strikers wasting opportunities we create for them.*If we are looking for that*"World Class" player as Harry puts it to take us to the next level, and we are made aware that this player is "available".. surely other clubs*would be interested in this player too, so we*should*move*fast to ensure we get our man. Just using*the Suarez scenario as an example..*we*were linked with him*for most of the last window,*they reportedly rejected an*offer for him from us (???) and are obviously being heavily linked again.. however, in the*space*of*two weeks,*Liverpool change a manager, and*have "reportedly"*almost done*the*deal to sign him*in such a short space of time...
I know its a case of doing whats best for the club, and getting the right player, the above is just an example - I* have absolute faith in what they are doing, I just wish we would do it faster so we dont miss out or drop points. This stage of the season is pivotal to the future of Tottenham Hotspur FC, we MUST finish in the Top 4 this season.

I suppose I should inflate A&C's ego by saying nice roundup.

*sigh*

Nice roundup buddy!

I think the ITKs may have tired themselves out in the last couple of days so I expect a quiet few days before a realy push in the last week of the window.

I think if we get a striker worthy of our midfield, it will add approximately 60% to my productivity not needing to refresh this page so often!

I threw my boxers away if anyone's interested. On topic, I had a dream we signed a striker on Friday so this thread may as well close today, cos my dreams often come true (though to be fair, this one didn't end up with me waking up with a puddle on my tummy). I couldn't tell you who the striker was but I'm pretty sure he was ugly.

As always, the value of the info is very dependent on the quality of the source....
