What's the single worst thing you've seen a Spurs player do?

Peter Crouch away at Real Madrid, early yellow and then decided to hack down someone else and get sent off

15 bloody minutes!

We were done and dusted already before the 2nd leg, but for someone like crouch, a relatively passive player, to come out with two moments of madness. Begs belief. I really wonder wtf he was thinking.

Don’t know about the absolute worst, but Hoddle, despite being my favorite ever Spurs player, drove me nuts sometimes. Recall many times when time was of the essence, we were either behind or going for a win late in the game, and it was like he was on his own time. We’d have a pivotal free kick or corner late in the game, and he’d be juggling the ball over to the spot, or slowly walking over to it. The whole Shelf would be screaming at him to get on with it. Still the best Spurs player I ever saw.

Eriksen is much like this as well. I believe (or hope) this peripheral blockage is essential to their focus on the game itself.

Agree with you mate. Glenn Hoddle would literally make a joke of time sometimes when he had the ball. Fool the opponenent, his own team mates, us in the crowd...he was like a Modric on some good weed!

That was the first leg? I think we lost the second leg 1-0, Gomes palming a long range Ronaldo effort into the goal (IIRC).
