What's the single worst thing you've seen a Spurs player do?

So, a fair bit of reaction to the Alli tackle, which was indeed brutal and nasty, but how does it rank in the pantheon of bad things a Spurs player has done? Is it worse than Dembele's gouge, Bent's miss or Ghaly's petulance? Does it rank with Zokora's dive, Defoe's bite or the Paulinho / Adebayor wall?

And was it even the worst tackle you've seen? I seem to recall Jamie Redknapp doing something similar but there being no condemnation because 'he's not that kind of player' and surely the likes of Van Den Hauwe must have put 10-12 tackles like that every game back in the day when football wasn't so soft...

Let's try and keep it on the pitch so we don't get side-tracked by Judas, although, obviously, any comments along the lines of 'marry Mandy Smith' or 'become interim Tottenham manager after AVB left' would be worth having.

Bugger...I was going to say 'Sign for Arsenal after running down a contract?'

OK, losing to already relegated teams would be in there. 5-1 to Newcastle last season and I think we got a 3-1 against Boro back in the early 90s. I've gone for players rather than player here.

For some reason, losing to Portsmouth in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley hurt big time. Think it was 2010? When Dawson slipped. I thought that was our chance to win the F.A. Cup., we were doing well then.

If it's being judged on nastiness, then not too much stands out. The Alli tackle and Dembele gouge recent examples but I cant think of many more.

Incompetence is easier to list, could be here for the rest of the weekend. Personal favourites I'd raise are Paulinho's 'shot' and Acimovic managing to tap the ball over the bar from basically on the goal line.

But the worst thing I've ever seen related to Spurs = Doherty/Gardner centreback 'partnership.

I thought the wheels would come off after that defeat but it seemed to galvanise us as we went on to beat Arsenal and Chelsea at home in the next week, and then make it into the CL

Back on topic though, the Walker brain fart a few years ago at Anfield when we gifted the dippers a couple of goals had me foaming at the mouth!

Crimes against fashion: Gerry Francis's mullet. AVB's beard. Sherwood and his gilet. Didn't Hoddle used to stand on the touchline in shorts?

And I've just remembered about Ossie Ardiles raiding of the club shop for his matchday tracksuit and cap.

And at the time Justin Edinburgh swiping at Savage's poodle looking locks in the league cup final and leaving us down to 10 men. I was distraught at the time, but once the winner went in all was forgotten!

Ian Walker laughing after conceding that goal v the dippers when the ball bobbled up over his arm also had me raging

Great idea for a thread!

I am racking my brain and what I have come up with thus far is Crouch's moment of insanity at the Bernabeu, and one of Heurelho Gomes' howlers-so many to choose from.
