I reckon Poch will go back with just Kane up top.

It'll be a scrappy game. I think it will be a game of a few chances. Whether we get anything from it depends on how clinical we are. Which I'm not too confident from having seen the first two games!

A strong start is needed here. Mid-day kick offs tend to be subdued and cagey but WHL will definitely be bouncing with a fast start to get them under the ropes. I don't think Klopp's Liverpool are mentally strong enough when chasing a game and this is where we can really hurt them. They're going to press, sprint and try go from back to front quickly. There's not a lot of subtlety or variation. Of course when it clicks it's menacing but I'm quietly confident we'll do well.

We can match them in the press and we have the athleticism to cope with their fluidity in attack. And we are better drilled defensively to close the space whereas from what I've seen the reason why Liverpool's defenders make many errors is because they have not got the support to plug the gaps from those ahead of them. They're left 1v1 or even 2v1 a lot.

I watched Liverpool last week and it appears they are completely a confidence side. They can get easily frustrated if they don't score early or go behind. Some of their shots especially from Coutinho were absolute signs of desperation. Hence we need to start well and frustrate them like Burnley did. The longer we hold them out, the more likely we win this imho. This is why i believe Poch will definitely start with Dier and Wanyama. Kane should play as sole striker with Janssen off the bench.

On the flipside, if they score early, i will be extremely worried.

Coutinho expected to start then, shocker. Tough match this I'm not feeling confident these fuckers have had our number recently we just can't seem to beat them. Think we are going to struggle with their pace.

Just can't envisage us winning; they're quickly becoming a bit of a bogey team for us.

A tight 1-1 is my bet.

Would be elated with a win though

All about our tempo. If we play like the first two games we could be in real trouble. However if we're up and at them from the off we could completely overwhelm them.

We need Eriksen to step it up a level as well.

We don't create enough goal scoring chances at the moment so I don't expect there to be many goals and see this as a 0-0 or 1-0. Unless liverpool click and we could be in for a hiding but our defence is good so I don't expect that to happen. So I'm going for a 0-0 draw with few goal scoring chances from either side.

West coast us has a 430 wake up call to be fair
I'm sure it will even out. Asia, Oz and late night NZ can enjoy a Spurs victory.

But for this one it looks like US has gone "to the back of the queue"......

Tough one to call. They are fantastic going forward but iffy at the back. going to be an interesting midfield battle

Can't get to the game because I was at the Dorset Steam Fair yesterday, but I'll try and catch a half in a pub or something.

A win this early in the season going in to the international break would be massive. COYS!

Dear Premier League,
I am done with this whole early game bullshit. No more 1230 british time games. No more. I am so done with waking up at 730 am eastern for games on Saturday mornings. Totally uncalled for. Let me solve this for you. 3pm, 530 pm and 730 pm games on Saturdays. Imagine that! Prime time games. Revolutionary.
Sincerely,
yankspurs

I hate the early morning games with the fire of a thousand suns.
Just give me the 10am, 1230 and 230 games on Saturdays. Surely, 3pm, 530pm and 730pm are better time slots for tv anyway in England?

Just record the early games and quit being a little whiny bitch.

You little whiny bitch.

From the first 2 games Liverpool have given the ball away very cheaply from deep in midfield. Both Arsenal and Burnley pressed high, won the ball and got goals from Liverpool's sloppiness in this area.

This could be a chance to take advantage but I'm never overly confident playing Liverpool.

I would see kane and jansson bully the Liverpool defence. I feel if we are to win we will have to get goals early
