Janssen wasn't as bad as they are making out, it's just that he was trying make an impact without anyone on who can give him the service he needs which is the ball infront of him for him to come on to. Just like Soldado, we have bought a player capable of scoring a lot of goals and failing to give them the service they need

I thought he had what it took at first: work rate,hold up play, finishing ability, but I'm losing faith fast. He's just too slow for English football, unfortunately.
Plenty of slower players have made it in the Prem. VJ might, too. But he won't get the chance here, we can't afford the time he needs.

This is why I would have kept him on then bring on Nkoudou instead of Dele

Based on that performance Janssen should have lost his spot on the bench permanently to GKN. As it stands, Son and Alli are much, much better options than Janssen up front. Frustratingly, an able deputy to Kane is at the top of our priorities again in the transfer market and yet i fully expect us to sign nobody this month.
