I'd personally be quite surprised if Poch starts Son. Think it will be the usual. Dier and Dembele with Eriksen, Alli and Lamela behind Kane.

It would be a shame if Son doesn't start, in place of who I don't know, it would be harsh to drop anybody at the moment. Lamela is probably the most likely to make way, he's not made much impact in the last couple of weeks but we'd miss his work rate. It's a great problem to have.

There's no way, after resting Alli midweek, he won't be a starter. The only question marks in my mind are the fullbacks, and perhaps whether Son has done enough in Poch's eyes to warrant a start. If it was me, I'd go:

Who Poch's chooses at fullback is anyone's guess... But I have a feeling He might throw Son in from the off. Either way, 3 points please - let's keep our noses firmly ahead of LVG's plastic Mancunians .

It would, but we thought the same after the Watford game and we still started with him on the bench. He's a bit erratic at the moment, but I think he gives an injection of energy and directness that no one else in the team has. And most of all I think we'll benefit greatly as a team if he picks up form again. In fact due to the lack of time he's been given as of late it would feel like a new signing if he were to force his way into the starting 11 again.

Agree but I thought this thread was what team we would like to see start and not what we predict the team will be

This is the team id go with as well, if son is fit. Walker can play and then get his rest against colchester.

Alli has looked shot in the last few games so think its time to give him a rest even though if he doesn't he will probably score today just to prove me wrong lol.
But think Eriksen is at his best when hes central can hurt teams a lot more there. Son is useless when he comes off the bench but excellent when he starts think his work rate could be brilliant today for an away game and we know exactly what we will get off palace its a tricky game.
