I'm glad that Redknapp isn't in charge of this team, and I'm glad that AVB wasn't in charge of Redknapp's team.

Could Redknapp win the league with this team? No.

Could AVB finish 4th with the team Redknapp had in 09/10? No.

This is where you and BC fall down, everything has to revert back to Redknapp. Fuck him, let him go. I'm talking about the here and now with AVB.

I see your point, yes, maybe we should forget Redknapp - although in a thread talking about what has happened under AVB I think mentioning what came before is relevant.

Here and now with AVB, i'm happier than you taking a bath in green tea.

I'm moving and i found my old match day programmes last night. This was my first match at WHL:

So, do i appreciate how much we have imporved? Hell yes. I doubt David Howells or Andy Sinton would even make the bench now! ;)

And thats why i never managed them on Champ Man in those days. To be fair the defence was alright (on paper) But the middfield?! Anderton was the only good player and he had no legs and an inside out face!

Remember too, that if any of our new signings are tempted away for whatever reason we will get big bucks for them and will be able to maintain the new level of purchase power to replace them.

Good management hereon should see us continue in the same recent mode.

One thing IMO we can thank Harry for is saving Bale's career. It has led to us having the finances to move to another level.

Plus of course subsequent brilliant work by Levy.
