It's a shame that so many spurs fans are more concerned about being right than supporting the club.

Good point. If any fan wants to be correct about a manager then they may as well just slate the manager from day one. Nearly all managers get sacked eventually.

So true unfortunately. Even worse is theyre both dumb and blind to it. Perhaps its because they suck at sport/ life and this is the only opportunity they have where they think they can redress that.

Being a long standing member of SC I have stayed away for the last few months.

It seems that there was a furore for mentioning Harry Redknapp, 4-4-2, attacking football, Spurs way. Negative repping and endless abuse hurled at the poster or commenter.
i wrote a post when Spurs beat Man U last season saying I was wrong about AVB. I wasn't. I was right all along.

I was so bored going to WHL this season. I had fallen out of love with the club. The football was dull as dishwater and nothing was happening.
We were so predictable, open to one pass through and bang - goal.

I'm so glad we have our Tottenham back. Forget all this possession stats, text book drivel spouting and look at what happens on the turf.

I expect a torrent of abuse for this but am glad that poison has gone and want TS to succeed to shut all the text book. 4-2-3-1 tacticians up.

Enjoy the game for what it is, fun. Sport isn't worth watching if its Geoffrey Boycott defending an innings all the time - 0 runs after 6 hours at the crease.

I like Petersen, Ginola, Bale, Lennon, Adebayor - genius yet can always let you down too. That's the excitement of the game.

If you like tactical genius then go and support Chelski - dull as hell

Chelsea are dull? I don't believe that for a second. They've been one of the most entertaining sides for a couple of years now, bar the odd game.

Wear your neg reps as a badge of pride.
It shows your originality and ability to stretch the box
and think outside the elephant.
That doesn't sound quite right but whatever.

The cyber bullies on here can't actually hurt you.
It's not as if they know where you live.
Football is an art not a science.

Who cares about neg rep anyway? Some people that you have never met who don't agree with your summarised opinion delivered without any tone of voice. Of course there will be neg rep. Talk about middle class problems!

The only time I don't like coming on SC is in the aftermath of a defeat. It's ten threads a minute all about the exact same thing and is just pretty pointless. But don't worry about neg rep. Speak your mind all the time as long as you aren't going to genuinely upset somebody.

PS. I didn't like AVB from the start but he had won me round. I guess I'm wrong about being wrong too. Wrong squared or something!

It's a neg rep on a online forum, not a gun to the head.. Stupid to worry about your reps

Not all neg rep is equal. Being negged by a poster you have no respect for can be as much a validation as a positive response from someone you do

Similar reason to why so many people follow ManUtd ;)

Sometimes it can seem like cyber bullying will never end, but there are some things you can do to make it stop.

Nobody has to go through online bullying alone and often the first step in stopping it is to tell someone about it.

Think about talking to an adult that you trust. They can help you report the cyber bullying and give you more confidence to deal with the situation.

You might want to talk to a parent, carer, family member or teacher. You can always talk to a ChildLine counsellor by calling free on 0800 1111

on the other hand, sticks and stones and all that!

I speak my mind... and I don't give a fook.

As being yourself is the biggest honour you can give to people on this site, rather than tapping away trying to be eveyones best buddy, yadda yadda yadda and hiding behind that internet persona.

Opinions are like ass holes, everyone has got one.

I want a mutant as a manager a merger between AVB and TS, AVB for everything except man management and attacking, TS for those two things, as ultimately this is what everyone wants.

It's rather conceited of you to be telling others what they should enjoy and how they should enjoy it.

England would have fucking killed for Boycott out in Australia this winter, i.e. someone who wouldn't piss away their wicket in 5 seconds flat for fuck all.

Some of us are grown up enough to appreciate cricket is a five day game and what the Botham's (and Pieterson's) needed was someone to stay in and break the back of the bowling attack for them. If you can't handle that then go and watch some girls play rounders.

Which Bale did you enjoy the most, the one that trundled up and down the (he plays on the) left under Redknapp (after he'd spent a year in the reserves) or the one under the possession stat, text book drivel spouting AVB ?

Personally I don't want my Tottenham back, I want one that I have never seen before.

Conversely most sportsmen are so dumb they can't form their own opinion.

They just give a hunned n ten percent.
