Have to say I’m yet to see the player we thought we were signing in Bissouma
I agree. I think the cameos he has had so far don't necessarily showcase him and what he can do.

What I have seen so far is a player who meanders around and constantly holds his sleeves! Hopefully when the domestic cups come along he can start a few of those. I think it will take some time.

Some of the performances from the subs is expected considering their lack of minutes and for that Conte has to take a little bit of the responsibility for not managing the players minutes better. Moura for example just back from injury looked like he was running through treacle and when he did "jump" for a header barely made it of the ground.
At the end it was the whole team that got complacent. Emerson gave ball away needlessly led to a corner. Lloris could have done better to deal with the corner.

Kane missed a penalty then minutes later completely fluffed the cross to Gil who was so wide open.

That was 3 starting players.

We had so much control in the game, it's let down by lack of clinical finishing and sloppy passing.

Just leaving the ground. Why do we make it hard for ourselves?? We should’ve been out of sight but shoot ourselves in the feet again.

Kane’s cross to Gill was shameful too

I would think so as well. But players coming on need to grab the opportunities. Bissouma still not exactly setting his arrival alight. Gil getting bullied always.

The annoying constant is Emerson keeps getting minutes.

Prime example of why you don't ease it down thinking a game is won. The subs and shape change (Sanchez/Emerson combo of terror, Skipp looks a million miles off it currently) and our ill-ease at controlling a spell of the game with possession of the ball didn't help but the likes of Kane, especially, powered down after an hour thinking it was all done, and then when we did get the gee up you find it can't easily be switched back on again.

Easy to blame the subs, but it's the core components who have been the constants during all the years of lamenting about weak/suspect mentality and game management etc and don't learn. Hope Conte is bollocking them first.

Dodgy start, very decent hour or so, calamitous ending.

Really sorry for Gil, Kane of all the people sending in a cross like that. I would fully expect Royal or Sess to do something like that but not H.

Just another mention for Sonny's second...incredible technique and with his WEAK foot. A lot of players couldn't hit it that sweetly with their stronger foot. Guys a freak.

so poor last 30, failing to control the game when 2 goals up and an extra man. shocking really. lost the plot when bentancur went off. spence should have also replaced royal but conte is too stubborn and it nearly cost with royal contributing to their 2nd goal. i dont think i know any other team that would do what i just saw last 30 . shame really because first 60 was pretty good

Bissouma is a fantastic player. He's obviously finding it hard to adapt to whatever Conte is asking him. But he'll come good, he's a brilliant midfielder.

I'm trying to give Conte the benefit of doubt. But the sooner Conte integrates Spence or for Doherty's case, back to his full fitness, the better it is for us. Emerson is a fucking liability.
Don’t get me wrong, I really hope to see him soon as well, but if he isn’t getting a chance yet, I’ve got enough faith in the manager to trust there’s a reason.

I’ve seen this too many times now, even going back to the days of people on this site calling for the likes of Rohan Ricketts and Mabizela to be playing, with all the same arguments, couldn’t be any worse etc. Their careers didn’t exactly take off when they left us.

I really dislike the way Son or Kane start looking for each other over better options whenever they're on the verge of breaking a record or bagging a Hat trick.
