Great, we'll have a side of guys who dribble past 3 men...and then do nothing.

I'll take a side of Chadli's all day over that.

... except that's more than even a drastic over exaggeration?

But even so, what would be the difference? If Chadli - Eriksen - Lamela are struggling to find the way through (which they have done repetitiously this season), then is the net effect any different whatsoever?

It's about balance. You have to brains and technicality, but you've got to also have pace and aggression. Our side at this moment isn't even remotely close to balanced.

Why every now and then townsend comes on and changes something, just with pure directness. Like his set up for Eriksen vs sunderland

Exactly correct. Pace and aggression is no less important of an ingredient to breaking down stubborn sides than brains. Until the game becomes telepathic, there will be still be a need for sheer physical ability to some extent in this game.

Perhaps we've had a whisper in his agent's ear about what kind of money he could earn moving in the summer and it's giving him second thoughts...

According to his father Oleg he won't be going to Roma and will see out his contract, I would imagine in the hope of getting a better offer elsewhere.

“He probably won’t sign the contract with Roma,” father Oleg Konoplyanka is quoted as saying by Football Italia.

“What I can say is that Roma would really like him to sign it, but my son wants to stay at Dnipro until June and then leave.

“He wants to stay and I think he will very probably remain here until his contract expires.”

From Italian site ilsussidiario.net: "The father of Konoplyanka explains that his son wants to stay until end of season at Dnipro and then sign up for a new team as he has the contract expiring. The coach of the Ukrainian club explains, however, that companies are treating and recommend the player to go to Spain."

Konoplyanka: "I promised the President that I'd stay at Dnipro until the end of my contract."

Comes from this site:

More quotes from the actual article.

“I know there was talk that there would be a medical soon, but that’s not true,” the Ukrainian international is quoted as saying.

“I promised the President that I’d stay at Dnipro until the end of my contract. As I understand it, the two clubs have reached an agreement, but not with me.

“That’s why the deal hasn’t been completed.

“I like Roma though, they’re a big European club. I’m convinced that in the next few days my future will be decided.”

Eventually beer will become water. And from water beer arises.
Interestingly enough, beer created the world(saw some documentary about it). FFS, why didnt our bodies adapt to living on beer:mad:

Hilarious note: A friend of mine is allergic to beer so he can only drink cider or liquor:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

There is some exquisite cider in this part of England where I live. I'm sure Konoplyanka will enjoy that, if he comes (to keep this on topic).

I mean, ciders not bad at all. Can only have 1 or 2 pints though and the rest beer/liquor when you're at the bar. Otherwise, you're in for a MEAN hangover.

And screw keeping this on topic. We're not getting Konoplyanka, or anyone for that matter. Better to just talk about being degenerate alcoholics;)
