Can see why he would stick as many of the players in that took part in the Chelsea match in possible to start.

If we know anything about Ange its about showing bravery and being acknowledged for it.

At this stage it's about keeping that fearlessness and never surrender attitude we had going into the Chelsea match going despite anything and everything that happens.

The message is clear. Dier and Davis in a high line and playing out from the back? Why the fuck not, we play the way we want to.

(Also a good message to levy that he better get the players in that fit the system, because the system ain't changing just cos we can get a bargain who doesn't necessarily fit.)

Can we really trust lo celso? He's always injured and when he's played (in a competitive match) he's generally been ineffective. I'd take Hoijberg ahead of Lo Celso everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

The midfield doesn't bother me that much, but that defence is a massive problem, if we play a high line this could get very ugly.
He’s only played like 55 mins for Ange. Every other times he’s played in an attacking system he has been very good. As a DM no but I’d take him over PEH in an offensive role everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

Do not like that team. Hojberg in is cowardly. Devoid of any creativity. Lo celso is clearly done here
Cowardly ffs, after we played a high line with 9 men the last thing our coach is, is cowardly. That back four will need more protection today and PEH is an excellent front foot presser. Lo Celso has done naff all to suggest we can trust him to come in and perform.

This was about Phillips specifically, but it applies to everyone:

"Ash is part of the first team. He trains every day. He's available for selection. If he gets an opportunity, then it will be up to him," he said. "I'm not going to manufacture things for people. Everything they get, they earn.

"If they are selected I think it's because I think they can help us win. If they're not selected, they have to keep working hard and wait for their opportunity."

You can only assume Lo Celso isn't looking up to it in training or is carrying a knock. However I also think he feels the defence needs protection (rightly) and has brought in hojberg and you can't drop either of bissouma or Sarr.

I actually thought now would’ve been a good time to blood Phillips. I’d say Dier is actually the best of the options for him to start alongside funnily enough since he’d be best placed to communicate and talk him through a game. Ange opting for the old boys to navigate us through this period though

I don't mind PEH considering Bentancur still is not fit to start. Ange doesn't have many options at the moment.

Scared for the centre backs but really hope we are aggressive and push forward as much as possible. It could be a good chance for Sarr to push forward a bit more with Hojbjerg in there. Will Johnson finally get a full game? Also a really young looking bench. It will be good to see a couple come on in the 2nd half.

Both our vice-captains are out. Who is the vice captain now?

I would like to say vicario, but probably bissouma. Didn't bissouma say he got invited into the group of leaders, and turned up late the very next day?
