Their supporters are a joke, why the hate towards Kane the England captain

It’s par for the course for the oppositions best player to get stick from the home crowd. You think we didn’t give Beckham stick even when he was England captain?

Nice one so bbc exaggerating a bit. I assume they had more of the ball but didn’t create a whole deal of big chances?

to be fair they’re a very good team, unbeaten since 11 sept i think and possibly unbeaten at home until we just beat them?

great win however we did it :)
They were much, much slicker on the ball than we were and had the lions share of possession. On the whole they played really well but were missing the final ball. They had tons of crosses and half chances but I can't think of a single clear cut opportunity.

None of us are sat here going “meh... good 3 points... but I’d rather have had a beautiful draw”
Some of our more entitled fans aren't happy unless they get results and beautiful football.

Some of our fans are knobs.

We defended brilliantly against a very good side. Chelsea are in dire form and we’ll be at home

I'm not sure we defended brilliantly, we got lucky wolves were not better in the final 3rd, they passed around Aurier and Sanchez with ease, especially in the first half.

There seemed to be a lot of last ditch/body on the line defending, which is more about luck.

We weren’t great general performance but they worked hard and got a result. Excellent defensively on set pieces too. Credit to Wolves, they were very good.

great weekend of results

In possession, we were terrible. Defensively, however, we looked very very strong. Don't remember more than one clear cut chance for them, their goal was a wonder strike from the least likely player to score a wonder goal.

Mourinhos plan was exactly what happened. We hit with the counter and we held them.
We were light in Mid but Mourinho gambled

For all their pressure, did they have a clear cut chance?
Two good saves from Gazza and the bad miss from Raul first half. I'd say the reason they didn't turn their pressure into great chances was a mixture of great last gasp defending and woeful final balls on their part. That could easily have been a hammering on another day. Traore Vs Vertonghen was similar to Bale V Maicon in terms of a mismatch, but Super Jan got the last laugh!

I don't think there's too much he can do about much until we've signed a few players. Some of these simply aren't good enough and what's on the bench is debatable. So expect to see more of the same IMO

I agree but going by what the hive were saying we were being overrun and they were going to score at any time

They didnt create much agreed but against better teams they will if we give the ball away... anyways onwards and certainly upwards

We've just played (and beaten away) an extremely good side who have a very settled, effective and ingrained way of playing.
Have a day off you sad little melon.
If you think we were not lucky and 2nd best, then you really need to take off your spurs-tinted glasses, you sad little marshmallow.

Im ecstatic about our victory, as much as you or any other spurs fan, but lets be man enough to admit we were bloody lucky, will you?

Sheeeshhhh!

Wolves away is the tougher game than Chelsea at home. As has been said, Wolves have beaten City, only their what, third defeat of the season? Not many teams will get many points there. Mix into that we're still not firing on all cylinders, completely. We're playing much better than the last days of Poch, we're more resilient. The flair/dominance will come in time.
