Fair play tbh, I can't help but respect that move. Brighton are looking good right now and with some more good recruitment who knows how far they can get. Even if he leaves he will earn them a nice fat paycheque.

I really like Mitoma, but he's massivley overrated and lacks consistency. He's also probably older than the age profile we'd like, and would cost an absolute fortune.

Pedro Neto is in my opinion a much better option, younger, cheaper, and I think better.

i'm probably on my own here, and will no doubt get put right, but i don't really get the hype around him. times i've seen him i just think he's 'OK'.

An interesting one for me, and I haven't watched much of Luton or this player, but I see that Alfie Doughty is creating the most chances per 90 according to a PL official post I saw on Instagram.

I went to FBref and see that he's currently 5th in the PL for key passes (Fbref's version of chances created):

He's been playing as a left/right wingback this season but during his career has played as a CM, fullback, right or left midfield, left winger, and CF (for a match lol). In a list where we've been linked with some of the names like Eze or Neto for big fees, he's performing for a bottom of the league side, is HG, and only 23.

I think he could be a shrewd signing to replace someone like Ben Davies or an alternative to Conor Gallagher and just be the utility type squad player.

My concern at this point is that if Neto keeps performing as well as he has then it could be difficult to get him. Liverpool and Arsenal have already been tentatively linked, even if thats nonsense Wolves would be silly to ask for less then 60/70 mil for him in the current market. There will be a number of clubs interested . I agree that he should be our top target, at 23 he could become and incredible player in a few years. I just wonder if we would be happy to pay the money it would take to get him. Whats also a big concern for me with any potential move is that he is represented by Gestifute, ie Mendes and things have never gone our way when he's been involved. For me with Salah probably going I think Liverpool will be a much more likely destination for him.

Fantastic player and he should be our no1 wing target (followed by Nico Williams) but I struggle to see us paying whatever fee they will be asking.

I did suggest him in the summer and most replies were convinced he wasn't the same player since his injury. Good to see him back to his best again. Always thought he was much better than Jota when both were there.

I would like us to take a look at Leif Davis from Ipswich. Last season he got 3 goals and 14 assists in League One as LB and LM (in a 3421 system). This season so far he got 5 assists as LB in 9 games in Championship.

I can't see that being the case mate. I reckon Neto will be go for a huge fee. I think Mitoma has only 18 months left on his contract. Neto, I believe has several more years.

It’s been posted above that mitoma is on the verge of signing a new deal so he’ll be very expensive. We’ve seen with Brighton they don’t sell cheap. I’m amazed we got Bissouma at the price we did, even if he only had 1 year left.

Neto would be perfect in this team. As others have said, you have to feel it would be a hard transfer to complete.

Swap Jota with Williams and i'd agree. If we wanted to dramatically improve our wing options then those two (ones left footed and the other right and both can play on ether wing) would be phenomenal business. We could then potentially use Kulu central.

Neto is a very good player. Another a mate of mine mentioned that may be available is a lad called Kubo - anyone seen anything go him ?
