Who would you replace Avb with if you had the chance?

All the good managers are now at other clubs and I can't see why anyone good would come now. Shame because I think Baldini and Levy did really well in the transfer window giving us a really decent squad...the world class players we lost to RM we could never have kept as even ManU found out with CR7. Originally I wanted Martinez and still think he is the best; Klopp obviously everyone loves but I can't see him leaving except for a club which like Bayern can buy any player they want. Laudrup was a truly great player but not sure about him as a manager

5 of today's starting 11 weren't with us last year. Levy has backed Avbs by the looks of things and if that is the case then he needs to be given a reasonable amount of time this season, for me 11 games isn't a reasonable amount of time.

Of course, why wouldn't we be?
So give me your valid reason(s) why Avb is the man to take us to the next level. Tell me what it is that makes us so much better than any other option we could pursue.

I said Laudrup recently but prior to AVB coming I wanted Harry replaced with experience.

Ancellotti doesn't seem all that comfortable at RM. The Premier League being The Best League In The World (TM) I don't think it would take much to bring him back.

Or dare I say it... Mr Redknapp? :censored:

Well I think I could have a good stab at it. My record on Football Manager and Championship Manager record before it, has been exceptional. I don't wish to sound too self congratulatory, but I have won every major honour. Even with lower league clubs. Jermain Defoe also broke Jimmy Greaves's Tottenham goal scoring record with me at the helm!
Then you need to get that in pdf format and slip it under Avb's pillow :D

Why are people still going on about Laudrup? He's had a really substandard 2013 with Swansea and is just as preoccupied with the EL as AVB with a worse squad.

On top of that did nobody pay attention to him being a total wanker to them in the summer, seemingly attempting to agitate for the PSG job?

could we get HARRY"they only had 20 points from 11 games" REDSNAPPS....back

I as well as others said that Avb was the man to take us to the next level and this season I was so optimistic that we would be seeing something special and we could laugh in Arry's face about never having it so good...That saying is coming back to haunt me somewhat now. It may still be early day's in the season but it looks like Harry is right to a degree...We played some fantastic stuff back then and it seems such a distant memory. The future will always be lilywhite, But will it ever get as bright?

I'd want to see what Pochettino can do for the rest of the season. If he can maintain Southampton's performances then i'd probably go for him.

What's the point? We'll bring in another new squad and then some of you lot will be calling for next managers head after 10 games. Round and round we go.

Yeah but he wouldn't want to come to us haha.

:(

It would be very risky employing him though as he's never been in charge of a big club. We don't know how he'd counter the teams that come here to just park the bus and play for a point.
