harry to stay on , be made stay on by the most obvious way possible! and see us thru till he retires wud be my wish . end of.

anyone else and its a start all over again with some players deciding its move on time 2 as well as fact that such a guy coming into to spurs will want to exert his personality in some way ala mourinho which wud not go down well imo

harry has built are great looking side and with some serious money for strikers and center half in summer we can do it..

i dont see the whole harry for england myself, never did. they are totaly shit , you get nothing but grief and i think harry wud go off his head only training every 6 weeks or so or whatever it is...

should he go i think it could be moyes brought in which wud be my choice i think. foreigner wise i would love guardiola before mourinho and if we were to get benetez im going to follow barnet and wash my hands of spurs once and for all!!!!

I am really hoping that nothing happens to Harry as it would set us back a while, but if we were to face this situation, Lambert seems to have all the attributes we would want to make the dip last briefly

I don't think it will happen. If it did though I would imagine Levy would put our current staff in charge until the end of the season.

We'll keep tabs on the Mourinho situation and allow others to make their intentions known.

I hope HR stays though whether guilty or not.

Rodgers wouldn't want to be a no.2 again and I can't see Mourinho coming to a club with our fiscal restraints.

I think a great scenario could be Rodgers, with Redknapp given the DOf job once he's done his stretch.

I think Levy, Redknapp & Rodgers could be an outstanding trio, covering all the bases. Shrewd business management, experience, recruitment, media and man management and good coaching ethics.

Mourinho I dont think would happen, likes to have money to spend.

Lambert/Rodgers I think need more time to assess them. 2-3 seasons in the Prem before you can make a fair assumption on them. 2nd season can be notoriously difficult, heck theres even enough time left this season for one or both of those teams to nosedive all the way to relegation (not that I think they will).

Right now theres no one candidate that sticks out for me, hopefully Harry is here for a good while longer.

Let Joe Jordan manage the team until the end of the season, he has done well give him the job. Its not very fair to have to let Joe and the rest of the coaching staff go for something that isn't their fault.

I wouldn't worry too much about fairness. If HR goes down then we should put Jordan in charge and keep the same coaching staff as I believe we'll have better continuation that way and continue what is likely to be our best ever Prem season.

Now we've missed out on Ancelotti, my short-lost would be: van Gaal, Deschamps and Klopp. With Larini as DoF.

I agree with you. Talk of Mourinho without a big cash pit are wide of the mark. I can't see him wanting to potentially tarnish his CV due to not being able to go out and by the players he wants. I also think he and Levy would clash.

My order would be

Sherwood or Ferdinand
Poyet
Jol?
Klopp
Joe Jordan & Bond
Chris Hughton
Capello?
Klinsman?
Joachim Lowe
Or wait UNTILL the euros is done and see who gets sacked?

Somebody that knows this club and it's traditions and somebody that won't rip it all up to start from scratch

Fuck me that's a horrible list. It's full of ex-players who've never managed at any level let alone a top 3 club in the world's toughest league.

Of the others Jordan and Bond have a shit record. Hughton is clearly mediocre and Jol, while half-decent, has clearly shown his limits both with us and at his clubs since.

I can't for the life of me see what criteria you've drawn that up on other than the spurious one of having been employed in another capacity by the club previously.

Guardiola is too big a risk for me.

I think this shows just how tricky it would be to replace H if it comes to it. Guardiola is manager of the most successful team of our generation, the best footballing team since god knows when, and there would still be some doubts about him.

He's only ever managed with world class players already at his disposal and is unproven in what many would call a 'normal' job.

But then who isn't? Which managers have genuinely been brilliant in recent years without spending loads of money or without inheriting an already brilliant squad?

Trying to find someone who is 'proven' at Spurs' level is going to be very hard.
