Can't say I genuinely hate anyone. Love getting one over on the Goons of course and beating Chelsea makes me very happy. The idiocy gets under my skin a little but there's no hate.

Liverpool make me laugh - what I can't stand is the BBC and its Manchester love-in.

But life's too short really.

Any team playing in red
Any team playing in London
Any team less prestigious than us with fans who categorise their team and Spurs together
Any team ever managed by an Italian
Any team who buys a player from Spurs who ends up being far better after leaving Spurs
Any team who bids for one of our best players
Any team who has ever won Premier League
Any team starting with S and ending with toke
Any team with a player who has gotten away with a perilous tackle on a Spurs-player
Any team who grabs 1-0 victories on WHL by playing crap football
Any team with fans who claim that they wouldn't want any Spurs player in their squad
Any team with racist fan base
Any team who defeats us only to roll over for Arsenal the following week
Any team, really.

I hate Arsenal but have many Arsenal friends and the banter is what Football's all about. I only wish we'd be able to have the higher ground for a change.

Wet Spam and Chelski is a more vicious hatred.

Liverpool hatred comes from the point we're now going head to head consistently with them, they've come down a few pegs we've gone up a few pegs in recent league table figures and their fans can't take it.

Southampton. Again I can't stand them, ok we share similar songs come on you Spurs, come on you Saints who sang it first who cares...they swear we stole it. They can't stand that we buy players and taken managers from them in the past (Hoddle is the King of WHL surely you could understand that, this wasn't Robbie Keane and boyhood club crap).....but hold on! Liverpool have raped them.

It ain't so bad.
There seems to be a slight correlation between finishing league position, financial power and degree of hate - especially in the top positions.
For instance: The six best financed clubs usually take most or all of the top six league positions. All six of these clubs are also the top six most hated clubs in the BPL.

But, we break par in financial muscle and hate figures - sixth best financed and six most hated. And we are considerably ahead of par in finishing league position and hate generated.
We have only finished lower than fifth once in the last seven seasons - and that was sixth, finishing fourth or higher in three of those seasons. And yet we are the sixth most hated - clearly the degree of hate we generate isn't being as adversely affected as some would have us believe by our improved league finishing positions (going by this poll).

The real losers are Liverpool:
Fifth best financed team but third most hated - clearly the hatred for them goes well beyond their current financial muscle.
They have finished sixth or lower in six of the last seven seasons - and four of those were seventh or lower, including two eighth placed finished. And yet they are the third most hated club.

Man, them Scousers must be doin' sumtin' wrang to generate so much loathing :playful:

we don't like Feyenoord
The feeling's mutual. Personally, I hate those bastards, and consider that night at the Lane when we beat them on the way to winning the 1983/84 UEFA one of the highlights of my time following Spurs. Such superb football (at least in the first half), and we stuck it to a team many of us had been waiting years to beat.
Go, Ajax (and don't make a bollocks of next season's Eredivisie).

Would have thought the team we dislike most after Chelsea and Arsenal would be West Ham personally. Certainly is from me. Maybe they're just irrelevant.

With West Ham it's a different form of dislike. Chelsea and Arsenal are the equivalent of The Emperor and Darth Vader, with Spurs being Luke Skywalker in this analogy.

Like The Emperor, Chelsea are the epitome of the dark side. Corrupt, hateful, and intent on destroying everything in their quest for a soulless form of ultimate power. Arsenal are the arrogant side-kick. Willing to participate in the darker arts regardless of who they hurt along the way, and would love to crush us at every opportunity, but being close relatives there's a bit of a love/hate relationship with them (especially as we know we're in the right).

West Ham are like Jabba's little pet, Salacious Crumb, who cackles and mocks because he aligns himself to our real rivals, but who is ultimately a harmless little piss weasel that is in no position to laugh at anyone...and has a pathetic stadium half-full of ignorant wankers who for some strange reason think that Spurs fans give a flying fuck about them and their deluded, filth-sponsored, day dreams ever being relevant in any universe that isn't a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far away.

This analogy may have tailed off a little towards the end :cautious:

This is weird, but chelsea has in recent times overtaken arsenal as my most hated club, but somehow i feel most satisfied when we beat arsenal compared to beating chelsea.

North London pride probably.

If you live in north london you mix with a lot more arsenal than chelsea.

The scum and Chelsea for sure. I enjoy beating West Ham just because I know it means so much to their fans :)
