In some ways this clusterfuck of a season might do us some favours in the longer term. If we were in CL all the above will have been loaned out again, but being in the ECL gives all of them every opportunity to stake a claim in pre-season.

Yeah the ECL campaign could actually be quite enjoyable if we go full on with the youth in it. At least in the groups.

Skipp will. If Foyth stays (he probably wont) he absolutely should. He's been very good for Villareal, mainly at RB, and considering we probably need two new RB I think it would be wise. Sessegnon quite possibly as well, but I'm not sure where he'd fit in right now.

The irony is until the new manager is known it's hard to say. Skipp would be the obvious name, but I actually think a year extension with Norwich in the Prem would do him wonders.
Skipp is way above our current squad standard, hence his return to us is imminent.

See Foyth against Arsenal? Tore them a new one.
Definitely need him back.
Fwiw I thought he was a disater at cb, which he was, but when we tried him at rb he showed glimpses of looking pretty tasty and I was surprised we didnt percevier with him there. He bombed forward a few times when he was at rb. Quick as well.

Id take Foyth back for sure, Ive always felt there is a good player there. He just needs to mature.

Norwich will be in the Prem next season. I just think one year as a guaranteed starter in the top division would benefit his development more than not necessarily playing every game for us (we don't even know if the new manager will use him).
If we had better players than yes! But he will be needed for us!

I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up selling many of these to generate funds. Foyth, Sess, Clarke. I don’t want them to go, but they will have had a taste of 1st team football and will not want to drop back into the reserves. And we know how difficult it is to sell deadwood so at least these guys have some interest from other clubs.

Foyth and Skipp back will be a great help to Holjberg who was so influential before our decline at the beginning of the year. Foyth seems to be impressive at RB but I'm convinced he should be a defensive midfielder.

He did really well with Norwich by all accounts. Like you, Id love to see how he does in the Prem for another season, before starting him in the first team. I suspect most of our fans wont agree though

Yeah Foyth was young (and still is) and the talent is clearly there. His main issues are he would dive into tackles too eagerly and get caught out when trying to dribble out of trouble. Those things get less exposed when you are playing RB, I think he also suits a back three. His biggest problem was he messed up when given a chance by Jose and that was curtains. But he is a player who before going to Villareal had never had a run of games, which is what he needed.

If Villareal can afford him they'd take that option, and the money wouldn't be too bad, but if he comes back I think he could be useful. He has also played in CM on numerous occasions this season, and that could be useful.

Skipp doesn't need another year at Norwich in my opinion. He deserves a squad place and will get a lot of first team minutes.

In recent years standout players in the championship have followed suit in the PL, if you look the real deal there you will be able to do it here. The PL is littered with quality players signed/promoted from the championship.

Skipp returning is the equivalent of signing Kalvin Phillips for £30-40m at the end of last season. It's an open goal for our squad refresh. Sissoko out, Skipp in. Improves homegrown quota, saves wages and saves funds for other areas.

Considering the state of the CBs in the current first team squad I don't know why we want to get shot of CCV. It's not a position we have strength and depth in, so even if we sign a CB (or two) he doesn't seem like an awful addition to the squad.

I expect we will sell him for a modest fee to a top championship / bottom of the prem team.

Do Villareal not want Foyth then?
I thought the only thing that could stop his loan being made permanent was them not wanting him?
If not then great, first team ready RB and CDM (Skipp)

Would like to see what Parrott could do in the Prem as i like what i have seen of him. He may not have the goals yet but some of his build up play and touch is far above someone of his age.

I'd imagine Foyth would have a say in any deal as he would need to agree personal terms with Villarreal. Unless it was all pre-agreed with the initial loan.

As for Parrott I have a mate who supports Ipswich and he wasn't massively convinced by him. It feels like Scarlett has overtaken him as the big prospect at the club. I suspect he'll go on loan again and hopefully it'll click this time in front of goal.

It's the window, some people haven't quite caught on, everyone is in massive debt. They want him, the question is can they afford him or feel that they might find better value using the money elsewhere. I just don't know.

Skipp will definitely be in the 1st team next season, we wanted him back in January by all accounts.

Sess I’m unsure on, with Reg and Davies at left back he’s not needed yet and with Son and Bergwijn as wingers too, depends who we sell, maybe a loan to a lower prem team will suit.

And keep an eye out for Eyoma, impressed massively and pretty highly rated, could be a surprise package.

Of course, it all depends on the new manager. I'd like to see Foyth come back, but it depends who leaves and who else comes in. Eyoma looks promising, but the jump from League 1 to the Prem might be a bit much. I guess another loan or another season at Lincoln if they win the playoff.
I'm not sure where Sess would fit in. He might get games in Europe or the Worthington's cup, but he isn't likely to start at LB ahead of our two more established options and unless Son leaves, he wont get many chances in a more attacking role.
Skipp is the one who seems most likely to fit straight in. He looks ready to step up, and our midfield options are stronger with him in the mix. The obvious move it to let Sissoko go and give Skipp the chance to muscle his way into the squad. But managers seem to like Sissoko and might be reluctant to let a popular and positive figure leave if other influential figures move on.

Sess is left footed and has great composure in front of the goal, can’t he be used on the right wing as an inverted winger if Bale isn’t coming back and lamela is rumored to be going back to Italy?
