I wouldn't. I have the ability to judge situations on their merit without being biased towards my football club.

Would say it's more basic. The idea that an adult's main factor in judging a situation is bias for their football team is really pathetic.
I think it's clear that the only possible solutions are finishing the season or voiding it.
Hopefully option 1 is possible, even behind closed door and provided free to air to the public with a reduction in TV packages offered next year to BT/Sky etc.
As I said in another post though I don’t believe IMO that respects the integrity of the season, some teams will have played matches with full home support while others empty stadiums. I understand they are looking for a solution, but that’s not a level playing field for all clubs. It could effect results, and therefore the integrity of the league/competition.Saturday 3pm TV Blackout in UK for matches has been temporarily lifted.
Think this is clear sign that it is the intention to restart season behind closed doors, with all matches being televised
Unless the season restarts on 30th April I can't see anyway other than to void the season. Numerous players are out of contract this summer and they can't be forced to stay. Can't really open the transfer window while the season continues.
At best we could void the domestic and European cups and get all the leagues to just finish their seasons with 2 matches a week.
But I think it most likely that we won't be ready to go again in time to finish the season in a timely manner.
PL and the club statements have said it won't be restarting at the start of May.

And that doesn't matter because they have been apparently been given a deadline of mid-August to finish the current season by UEFA at the meeting last week, with league fixtures taking priority. Worst case we could re-commence season at beginning of July (they will hope to do earlier), 2 games a week and be finished mid-August. And with games held behind closed doors, at training grounds, in sterlilized conditions, with players and support staff isolated from outside world for month or so before it re-commences until it finishes, with no transfer window open at that stage, with players out of contract being offered short-term contracts to stay, they fully intend to do everything they can to finish it, so promotions, relegations can be earnt, and will adjust the calendar for next season accordingly.
It is not ideal, but it is much fairer than just pretending the 29 League, 8 Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup games have not happened, and starting again from scratch ignoring all the money clubs up and down the Leagues have invested with the aims of getting promotion this season, and all the legal battles that would involve.
There are 9 games to go. I guess it is possible to complete the season in a month if there are no cup games. Play the games in June then have a break for the transfer window and start the next season afresh end of August or beginning of September.PL and the club statements have said it won't be restarting at the start of May.

Yep. There really is no choice here for the sport. The season must be universally voided as no results were mathematically finalized. With Pep' s mum passing, Boris becoming very ill and players like Dybala having a bad effect to the virus I can't even see 'behind closed doors' being a responsible option.
Players can hardly avoid social distancing rules when in training centres and if they are kept in camps, it still won't stop caterers, cleaners, etc from bringing the disease in (and out) of the training centre. Where the disease will then spread like wildfire and you risk putting players, coaches, and other staff inside a 'viral load' situation.
We shouldn't assume that the season not finishing means it will be voided. Scotland for instance has just ended everything below the Premiership, but taken final standings based on points per game - which would see us finish 9th, below Arsenal, and not qualify for Europe.

I can't see how this would work personally. If I were in charge of Tottenham and the decision was made to finish as per the standings now then I would immediately file a lawsuit for loss of potential earnings. We are not mathematically out of the Champions League & with Kane & Son making their returns, a top 4 finish isn't impossible to imagine.
I personally think there are two options:
1 - Finish the season behind closed doors, extend the Transfer Window & shorten the summer break (considering players are essentially 'off' now).
2 - Void the season & standings from last season stay in place.
These are the only two fair outcomes. Either play the games & see who wins, or don't and void it. I have seen some suggestions regarding full stadiums etc & I understand it, however football is ultimately a game between 22 players at once and the most goals win, that is it & the crowds etc do play a part, but I don't think a claim would stand in court that it makes that much of a difference.
