Right, so now if you see someone in the ground with a Spork, you know they post/lurk on SC.

Sadly I have never actually thought of it before leaving home. Normally end up dipping my fingers in what is essentially magma and wearing a load of pastry. Worth it.

I had a Pizza Hut buffet deal by tottenham hale last time and just walked up. It's about a mile, so not too bad if you leave 25 mins to get up to WHL
On a nice day (and with more time) it's a nice walk along the River Lea/canal from Tottenham Hale to Northumberland Park.

Yes, and they are still brilliant but a bastard to eat.

Bring a spork.
It'd probably be confiscated at the turnstiles.

Through the marshes? I have tried that, but on the one occasion I only saw what can be described as very rough/shifty looking fellas hanging around by the cut through to the A1055, so I doubled back to cut through the little industrial estate, seeing a cut through on google maps. Maps were wrong and I ended up essentially a one way street deep into the industrial estate with some even more shifty looking groups of men hanging around in ambiguous units, looking at me like I was trespassing.

Didn't get stabbed, lol, but it's the kind of crap I've done accidentally before - including being in a very rough area of Marrakech, having explored too deep into the Souks :cautious:

Had a breakfast in one of the cafés on the high rd years ago before the fa cup semi vs Newcastle at old Trafford that gave me food poisoning, much to the amusement of my mates and everyone else on the coach who cheered every time I ran to the bog on the coach

No one mentioned Bite To Eat just past the B&H? The only cafe in the world where you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the garden area to eat. I use the term garden loosely.

Every time I eat there I have to protect myself from the boiling water spitting out everywhere as I glide though the kitchen. I mean, you're literally in the kitchen with all the staff. It's fucking ridiculous how it hasn't been shut down by health & safety.

And yes I could stop going there but they do an awesome scrambled eggs, chips & beans!

I use the word awesome loosely. And eggs.

So all in all...

We have all eaten our fair share of shit food in the 'michelin famed' N17. Well that's not much of a surprise.

And we put up with it because we love watching Spurs and its all part of the experience.

That, and the shit we are eating isnt half as bad as some of the shit we have had to endure in the Lane at times over the years.

Got bless you Spurs, Pride of North London.

The Italian - San Marcos at Bruce Grove isn't bad - once "fell" out of there after too much Chianti dining too many hours before a Chelsea home game. Tripped over curb which kept my momentum moving forward and straight into a group of Chelsea fans being escorted to the ground with a Police cordon. Could not tell nearest policeman that I was not one of them and could not escape until we neared the ground. Was endless fun walking down the high street with said enemy hurling vile abuse at anyone slightly non Arian - small children , old ladies , you name it they gave it to them. Nice Veal Bolognaise though !
