The Caribbean place next to Gilpin, or the Caribbean place next to the supermarket down that end. Cant beat some Jerk Chicken and rice when steaming drunk

I'm going to the match tonight for the first time in about 10 years. My mate said we are going to the burger place at WHL and that if you faff around for even 2 seconds the Big Black guy serving the burgers screams at you lol. Sounds like it will be eventful.

Heres my review of a few of the food places around WHL

Chick King - Do not get the hype im afraid. I ate their once on a winters night and recommend it to anyone who wants a thumping stomach and gutrot.

Top Wok - Now we are talking. Give me one of those large buffet boxes please darling, and don't be so stingy with that nice orange chicken (or whatever it is)

Pavro - Lovely chicken doner wrap available here but make sure you stock up on chewing gum otherwise you will stink like shit for the rest of the day

McDonalds - I like a leisurely stroll to Bruce Grove for one of the earlier kick offs so i can grab a brekkie. Except my walks are usually too leisurely and i miss the fucking breakfast cut off. Everyone else seems to get a Big Mac instead despite it being 10:40am, not me though i find that repulsive.

KFC - Take a stroll towards Tottenham Hale and you will find an extraordinarily bad KFC, i would even eat that shit Chick King over this pile of wank. Their Argos style system is infuriating when all i craved was a Zinger.

Peasant disclaimer- there is a good bagel place next to the Bricklayer, pretty reasonable too. Not to be prosy, but I'd far rather go to a locally owned place than some bloody fast food chain.

I've heard the pizza place by Bruce Grove is good, maybe someone mentioned that above.

Theres a great 'Kebab' shop (simplified-Turkish restaurant I think) really close to the ground. Serving counter is by the front window and out back they have a large sit down area with a long table through the middle. Some traditional or perhaps faux-traditional decoration...

Had a couple of cracking meal in there

Anyone help me out with the name?

The place on the corner?

This shop changes hands ever month, have you not realised that each time you go its under new ownership and a new name?!

I don't know, if that is the one then I havent noticed.

Been there 3 or 4 times over the last 18 months and had a good bit of grub each time.

Upper Crust at Victoria waiting for a train home... Though to be fair I do usually just get a burger and chips from Premier Burger, they're not too bad, if hideously rip-off expensive.

I had a Pizza Hut buffet deal by tottenham hale last time and just walked up. It's about a mile, so not too bad if you leave 25 mins to get up to WHL

Yeah that's right if my memory serves me correctly...

They do some good grilled food alongside the standard take away stuff.

I always think its quite a pleasant stomach liner, but then most things go down well after a few pints!
