Who needs to know what opposition fans are saying when our own are saying this to THST. Hope none of them are on here although it wouldn't shock me given the nature of some posts this week.

All clubs do. Society as a whole seems to be in a very strange place at the mo. Everything is amplified and there's a lot of angry people who are shouting without thinking at whoever appears on their screen while scrolling through social media. Blame someone, anyone etc... ?

I always like to blame everything on @riggi.
I find it helps every situation.

It’s definitely Riggis fault that Liverpool are signing some bloke Ive never heard of.

Twitter is the worst it’s ever been today. There’s some absolute bellends in our support. Going on a massive cull and block session when I get some time.
I’ve stopped using Twitter pretty much. Unless I’m searching for a specific thing, I can’t be arsed with all the moaning from everyone about everything on there. It’s a complete toxic wasteland.

I was listening to The Last Word On Spurs last night and they were saying exactly the same thing. It's seems to get worse, year on year during transfer windows.
People just so obsessed and angry about bloody transfers, like supporting your clubs transfer business has become more important than supporting your club.

Fuck that!
There's a reason I've never ventured onto the place

Can literally scroll past and ignore any posts without a blue tick. Twitter has become a technology weapon that can easily sway the minds of millions into believing anything without the need for being responsible over what's said.

I've never used Twitter and I have to say my erections are much better than I'd imagine they would be if I had used Twitter.

Logic ??

Yeah. Since Conte came we are 3rd/4th best team in the league, but because we didn't spend 100m on transfer in January I've seen serious tweets that we will be relegated in next 3 year.

Tottenham hit the panic button. Massive 72 hours approaching with fans ready to revolt and fears surrounding Conte if it continues to go wrong after a hat-trick of misses

Wierd media are bantering Sp**s today. Not sure Kulu would make Conte happy.

"Hat-trick of misses." ?

Yes Diaz Traore and Kiesse all reject them last 24 hours. Not good day for Sp**s.

I was told here that their debts don't matter, and Conte will attract all the best players in the world.

They probably gonna have same problem as us after our stadium just got built, spending peanuts on transfers. Conte must have known to a certain extent Sp**s couldnt afford huge signings since they also gotta repay their stadium for next however many years.

I think the debt will make them lose alot of good players also staying out of CL won't help they need to be smart they trying to sign players that elite teams after. They won't succeed with that

I will say though Tottenham were a lot smarter than us in utilizing their new stadium, They host events regularly which I'm sure they must make some sort of money out of.

I'm not sure how smart they are. They could have sold their stadium naming rights already and make money for some time, but Levy is holding out for some miracle deal.

If they wanted to be smart they should've taken 100m from Kane and build the team. PL nowadays is different tho Sp**s won't have difficulties like us because the sponsor and TV deals are higher than it was in 2007 so the income will always be high.

True but look what happened when they sold Bale they tried to rebuild and most of their transfers turned out to be dross, Its not always good to bring in 5/6 players in a window, They probably will come to regret not selling Kane for 80-100 million, But he's probably one of their only hopes of getting CL so i see why they didnt sell him.

You have to remember that the stadium cost more than double it was supposed to, and then came the lockdowns and their financial plans could not have predicted it.

Depends how much money they actually make from these events, From what I'm aware they have hosted atleast a big boxing fight and some NHL games, if they make a fair amount of money from those events and hold multiple throughout the year, they could make the same if not more than selling their stadium rights for 30 million a year.

Sponsorship & TV deals are better, but their debt is almost five times greater than ours. They literally built their stadium at the peak of the market, Arsenal timed theirs (with hindsight) really well. If they have a £1b debt, and their interest rate (non compounded) is 3% (I guess it is much higher), they need £30m a season just to pay the interest. They need the NFL games just to pay the interest. They are trying to spend money, as they can’t afford not too. Sp**s will be in big trouble in a season or two, without the CL, they have no chance of servicing the stadium debt. Look forward to their points deduction & relegation when they go into administration.

Arsenal fans are fun aren’t they, fucking hell how can people speak with such authority on things they obviously know little about.

Will be interesting to see how much money can Levy give Conte with their huge debts. Chelsea couldn't give him enough, or Inter, so surely this stadium debt Tottenham can?

That what I'll find it bit complicated also they won't be able to add top quality they'll need to be smart knowing current DOF it's 50/50 good transfers and poverty transfers.

In Antonio Conte's first meeting with the board about the January transfer window, he was told that money would be tighter following the summer business. @AlasdairGold

Nobody told Conte they currently have 700m stadium debt? Would be surprised if Conte stays beyond this season. They already broken thier promise to him.

Thought there was people claiming Sp**s had like £200M to spend?

From where? I'd be even surprised they spend near 100m this summer.

Why laugh at Sp**s we are the morons celebrating moral victories and they are better positioned in standings without even playing well yet. If they beat us at WHL they will be ahead in points and have 2 matches in hand. I mean Kane has had the year off from scoring goals and we still can’t top Sp**s. Let’s celebrate our moral victories more since that is all that is left the fans of this once proud club

Few places online claiming Conte would be backed in the transfer windows with anything between £150M and £250M. I genuinly find it hard to believe they'd have such a big budget when they're so far in debt. Isn't Levy still paying back the £120M loan he took from the bank for Mourinho's signings?

Sp**s have been crap since Contes been there, they literally scraped a win against Watford yesterday. Stop giving them so much credit.

Next 10 games for Sp**s. Within those games they face:

Arsenal
Chelsea
City
United
West Ham

They will drop points, so it is really important that don't gain any on us.

0 shots in the first half against Chelsea and 31 % possession. Second half a bit better. They haven't lost a lot under Conte, but the football hasn't been that great, and now it showed. Not easy to turn **** into gold.

Son injury

big blow for Games In Hand FC

that's big blow yeah agree and good news for us he is their best player this season. Kane will play now with Alli and Moura lol. (Son is our best player this season? :cautious:)

That is massive for us if Son's out.

Conte has a 18 month contract? Doesn't look too good for Sp**s as he'll move on in the summer to a bigger club.

https://twitter.com/TottenhamTiers
@TottenhamTiers

Some of the #thfc players fear Conte could walk next month if he is not backed with new signings.

Conte is crazy but not sure he'll do that. Sp**s are stupid you hiring a manager in 1 half year 20m contract and not backing him he'll of course save himself from stress and walk in summer

Worst manager for Levy. Probably hired him to keep Kane happy and didn’t expect him to walk so soon.

Yes really worrying stuff they linked with nobody beside Traore

Kane will definitely leave this month?

Ryan Mason is gonna be in charge against us, isn't he

Conte’s kinda dumb though, he seems genuinely surprised how bad the squad is, like didn’t he check before agreeing to join?

So Conte either walks or he's convinced to stay by Levy giving him a finacial warchest at the risk of going further into crippling debt if they miss out on European football?

Are they not like £700M in debt? Mourinho was backed with funds but only because Levy took a bank loan (that they're still paying back ) Without selling Kane or Son, where do they get £100M+ from?
Edit: They've also got an obligation to buy Romero for £50M in the summer.

With stadium debt they in they need to be careful with spending just like us before 2013 they can spend alot because they have no problem with ffp they should have let Kane go and start thier rebuild it was massive mistake imo

Telegraph Football

@TeleFootball

Antonio Conte stopped short of offering any guarantees over his future at Tottenham Hotspur, twice declining to assure supporters that he will be at the club beyond the next two transfer windows, reports

He going in summer. Levy lied at him ? at least he'll get his 20m

Sp**s broke Mourinho's run of trophies with clubs he manages, they are definitely doing the same with Bald-tonio.

What did I say before/when he joined? That he has been fired/quit out of two clubs before, because lack of funds he wants. And that Tottenham doesn't have that kind of money available because of their debts. What's not so nice that he really might quit himself, so he wouldn't ruin Tottenham by hanging on for Sp**s to sack him, getting bad results, and take their money.

At Sp**s it been funny i swear he came like 5 times already demanding transfers and nothing is happening it won't end well imo.

Why are Sp**s even considered top 6 when Leicester has won two major trophies this decade and Sp**s haven't won jack in God knows how long

Watch him leave come end of the season. I dont think this guy would risk his reputation.

Definitely on the table. I have a friend who's convinced he's going to take the United job this summer. Stranger things have happened.

The Spurs Web

@thespursweb

An average of 8,284 empty seats per matchday are costing Spurs approximately £165,680 per home game.

Let’s build a bigger stadium than Arsenal. Spursy fail again.

First Traore now Luis Diaz..... Not too sure what is Conte feeling right now

I'm anticipating the Conte meltdown on the 1st of February.

Conte will get something in the end. I really think if Conte walks levy’s days at Sp**s are near and he knows it

It'll be over before it's even starting for Conte. He'll get the remaining of 20m and leave in summer.

Considering Conte has them in a top 4 spot with 0 money I wouldn't exactly be gloating over imagined scenarios where he is leaving at the end of the season. Also this will be 5th season where they are finishing above us, St Tottenghiram's day was already embarrassing but the fact that we haven't celebrated this 'achievement' is a major embarrassment
