Their young players are good but they are not currently showing to be exceptional. I mean compare any of them to Dele numbers in first 2 years. Look at Wilshere, or now Rashford. I can tell you now there’s zero chance 3 of their kids will go on to be top 4 quality they’ll be lucky if 1 does.

I actually like listening to this sort of chat so much more than knobbers like Ty who are just trying to sensationalise. They made some interesting points.
That’s Jordan V in the hoodie. Very nice guy, If you know your drum & bass he’s part of V Recordings.
I’ve spoken to him a number of times in the past, and he was always respectful and humble. Never once mentioned he was a Arsenal fan.

  • Nah you need to get it right mate.Don Antonio only finishes top four because Arsenal, United, West Ham, Wolves underperformed this season. He went out all cup competitions early and even ran away from a competition so that he had his one game a week.
HAHAHA, how seriously stuck in the past is that thicko. If he thinks Le Arse underperformed this season, boy is he in for a treat next season!

They seem to forget that Don Antonio only started in November.

Arsenal invincibles only won the league, because utd had an off season. ?

That could be true, since they never retained it...

I really wish I could agree with you but can't unfortunately. Dele was a limited player, who thrived in a certain role with the right players around, Rashford has had 1 bad season and is still only 24, plus, most youth football watchers never thought he would make it at Utd in the first place. Wilshere's career and development was destroyed by injuries.

The only hopes they don't develop into top 4 players imo, are overplayed at a young age (only a concern for Saka), lack of quality senior players around them to help develop their game (mentally and tactically) and injuries that can happen to anyone.

These people are beyond stupid. Why are they talking about the first and second leg anyway, do they think the PL is a cup?

Another big LOL. They seem to have conveniently forgotten the new breed - that Kulusevski is 22, Romero 24 and Bentancur 24. And that's even before we splash the CL kitty they have just handed us so graciously over, thanks very much!

Oh and not to mention, that their so called "stars" would probably be jumping their dump as soon as something better comes along. One can only suffer Lego head mismanagement for so long!

That and Leicester, Man U and even West Ham in the second half of the season underperforming, which has also helped us out a lot tbh
I don’t think those teams underperformed, more that they were overachieving. West Ham were never getting Champions League in my opinion. That said behind the scenes Man Utd are an absolute mess, completely lacking in direction.

We still get to play a part in this league and other leagues.

Final day of the season and if we turn up we can change the future of champions League football.

We beat spurs and Arsenal win then everything changes.

Who do we prefer?

Personally I'd be amused if we turn spurs over (unlikely) on the final day and arsenal get the championship league spot.

It does make our final game somewhat important. I will be watching.
Would be funny for the prem league to implode and Spurs, Arsenal, Man City & Liverpool lose to boring 1-0s on the final day. A weekend of sheer anti-climax. (Do I sound like the grinch here? lol)

That said, Arsenal grabbing 4th would make good viewing in the "All or nothing" series, when you consider where they were start of season. We may be treated to Arteta singing "Teemu Pukki baby!" as the credits roll!
?
We don't stand a hope in hell of getting anything from the game. Spurs will score early doors then probably go on to smash us 5-0
it will either be 1-0 to us or 6-0 to them.

Would ne nice to ruin their season, finish 19th, and upset jamie ohara (whilst making laura woods love us)
I've triple-captained Kane this week on PL FF so Norwich are bound to keep a clean sheet
?
Much rather Arsenal get 4th place so if we could pull off the unthinkable to help them out, it'll make for a shining light in a shower of **** season for us.
Although born just a couple of miles from White Hart Lane, and far from being a fan of Arsenal, I would still be over the moon with a Norwich win on Sunday.

Why? Because I support the Canaries (lived here since 1966, so I'm allowed to). At the end of the day, it doesn't matter a sparrow's f@rt who finishes fourth in the PL - we will be a Championship side again next season.

The joy of a win would come not from the affect it had on other teams positions, but from our own team showing some fight and getting the result.

For reference:

Having said that, I must admit that it would be a chuckle to p*** off Jamie "look at me, look at me" O'Hara.
Despite our poor season and relegation, Sunday's game is massive. Obviously for Spurs and Arsenal, but we've found ourselves with a part to play in this scenario. They only need a draw, but imagine the scenes if we manage to somehow scrape an unlikely win!

Would love it!

It would be very Spurs-like too.

OTBC!
Indeed but I think they key word here is 'imagine' and (alas) that is all it is likely to be. If Spurs show any intent to try and win the game as opposed to playing for a draw, the outcome for us could be very serious!!
There is not a cat in hells chance we will beat them this weekend. I'm not sure we will register that many shots on goal even. And i'm usually a Percy positive
Every season we have one or two shock results against the better teams. Id say we've not had any yet....
This is why it feels like a written in the stars moment for me.

Setting myself up for mass disappointment, no doubt. But as soon as I heard O'Hara's smug voice on this clip it made me think back to how he slated the club in a clear attempt to raise his own profile.

Webber even gave a reaction to what he had been saying at start of the season, so an axe to grind there I'd imagine. I know shock jocks like him don't matter, but I do hope we have players in that changing room who would seize the opportunity to throw it back in his face.
There is more chance of me taking Beyoncé to the Queen of Iceni for breakfast followed by a light lunch with Debbie Harry in the Coach and Horses tomorrow, than us getting anything against Spurs.
Get over it .
I think we might score a goal, the only problem is they’ll score 4 or more.
Anybody know who the ref is ? Kane is bound to fall over at least three times.
Even Spurs arent Spursy enough to lose to us on Sunday.....are they?
Spurs lose to us....lol!
We aren't beating Spurs..
Oh come on. We have a good record with Spurs over recent years, it won't be easy for them.
Spurs are beating us 3-0 and then we’ll get the usual contemptful comments from the shock jocks like the sad little losers we are.

They then won’t mention us for at least another year such will be our irrelevance to top level football.
Really hope we win, but,

VAR will rule out another Pukki goal, Marginal Offside, due to his whiskers. What minute will Kane be CLEVER, and get his Penalty ?

The Premier League. Can it get any worse ?
Triple captain being played for Son, should be plenty of points
Kane and Son against our defence and some think we might win! If we avoid conceding 9 I’ll consider it a minor success.
This season we could struggle against Steptoe and Son.
And the reason I can't celebrate yet....

In football you never know

Easily the 4th best squad, yes. But, when you look at our results this season you can understand people having a little uncertainty about upcoming fixtures. Man City followed by Burnley being a key example of our occasionally erratic form.

Only 3 clubs in the entire league have lost less games than us.

Only 1 team in the entire league has drawn fewer games than us.

Yes we've lost a few games we maybe shouldn't have (on paper), but we've also won/drawn games nobody gave us a prayer in.

That's not erratic. That's just football.

Yep, exactly this. That’s without Sessegnon & Skipp who are also in their early 20’s. They really are morons and will have no strikers next season when Nketiah and Lacazette fuck off on free transfers!
