this is 1 of the worst statements in FOOTBALL

just because Kane might of put us 2-1 up if he had scored that penalty, no one knows what would of happened afterwards. Liverpool might of gone silly and scored 5 goals after. no one knows what would happen because if we had scored, the ball would of then been in a different place in the next phase(y)
They scored directly from the save, we go 2-1 their heads go down. Of course no certainties, however, the point was how we have been poor there recently, when in all honesty that game we could have won. I'm also saying have some belief in our manager and players, by God they earned the right by now.

I did a post in more detail about this a couple of weeks ago. In summary, previous seasons' Liverpool/Klopp teams have suffered from their weak defence. The attacking players had to press high relentlessly, or their defenders would get caught out and they would concede. The result was that the attacking players wore down late in the season and their results suffered.

Now they have a stellar defence, founded on Van Dijk, but also with improved coordination and teamwork. I would expect that this has taken a load off the attack force and that they should last better this season.
Hope not. But Klopp knows exactly what he has been doing, why and in what order.
Have you watched much of them since the turn of the year? They've been poor, playing with nowhere near the same intensity and speed, allowing plenty of great chances for their opponents and struggling to create goals themselves. They could quite easily have lost their last three games and none of them would've been unjust results.

Klopp may know what he's doing, but if not for a penalty against Brighton and two goalkeeping fuck ups from Palace, they wouldn't have had any wins in 2019 and would have perfectly continued that poor run of form they've shown in each of his seasons.

Interesting to see criticism of Iheanacho. I remember a fair few people wanting us to buy him.

I wanted Spurs to buy him. He is fast and when he had confidence was doing well. I think he's not really fitting in there but that doesn't make him poor all of a sardine

He just hasn't kicked on at Leicester. He seems to still be behind Vardy in the pecking order, having to spend a lot of matches sitting on the bench and being subbed on in the last 10 minutes. He's still young though, so time is on his side. He may need to move on though.

Similar story with Demarai Gray, who looked brilliant at Birmingham but hasn't really managed to fit in at Leicester.

Ever since the Man City match they don't look the same, whether that's down to nerves, fatigue or injuries I don't t know but they're definately not the same team as the first half of the season - for a team who deservedly had the meanest defence in the league they're been giving up a lot of chances recently.

And if the lino had done his job last night it would've been 1-0.
