I am not so sure he will leave. He obviously loves the club and i think we will always make sure we look after him.
I remember when they said the same about Bale, Berbs and Kane! Its just jealousy
He will end up leaving eventually and I don't think we should begrudge him when he does but I think he'll do it after breaking Spurs records and yeah, for an enormous fee.
It'll be in a few years so who knows what prices will be like then
I don't disagree which is why I always maintained that the Everton hype was overblown.
I would say we spent more, comparatively, but overall seem to have bought better, although you wouldn't have said that about us a while back. So jury's out but yeah, I don't get excited by their signings certainly.
I just think their splurge went more under the radar as everyone else has gone mental too, whereas ours stood out more at the time.
Brave call, that I think is likely, personally see him at 29 moving to Bayern for £150m, after winning the Prem, Champions League and FA Cup here.
Wouldn't begrudge him in those circumstances.

Trippier always looks good against poorer teams, well normally. 3 at the back really helps as well.https://twitter.com/Evertxn/status/906528620419670019
Nice to read, and probably true too - even our lesser players, Sissoko, Trippier etc looked decent yesterday as well
From the BvB freunde
Does this guy thinks Tottenham still finish 5th in the table?
Anyway can someone who speaks German translate this?

It's called being a good fan and creating an atmosphere that makes the ref think twice about giving anything marginal. Always shocks me when we moan about other fans supporting their team and booing anything that goes against you.Every decision that they so much as consider having gone against them gets booed, every single one. They're a horrible lot.

I've always had a respect for Everton. Fans fill the stadium every week and make it a good atmosphere. Never had loads of money to punt around and generally (apart from away against us) play decent football.
