West Ham favourites??!! Never will they be favourites in a game against us. They might beat us from time to time but always via smash and grab football. If we play well we win.

I think many on here are still smarting from the away embarrassment at Craven Cottage plus the joke 2 goals we gave the Spammers in the last home game. Of course they are going to give everything but we need to show our quality tonight and put the chances away unlike our home game earlier on

Living in Essex among a large west ham fanbase I dread this game more than any other. My wife is also West Ham! Really need the 3 Pts COYS

Underlines how this fixture routinely does throw up all manner of results and I don't see tonight's match being any different.
I'd love us to put in a professional and clinical display without resorting to lottery football without possession and us chasing back completely out of shape because West Ham certainly have firepower to hurt us - particularly Kudus out on the flanks.

2nd half part of it. I do feel similar with this game, both teams dangerous in attack but poor defending although think they're worse defensively than us.

My heart says that if we can limit them to three goals by half time we might avoid our biggest defeat of the Premier league era.
But my head says 18-4 to west ham. Werner 2, son and bentancur to score for us, I don't know who'll score for them as my head doesn't know any of their players, but my heart says carlton Cole will be on the scoresheet.

Can understand those who want Maddison to start from the bench as he hasn't been at his best.
Would like to point out though that he has had a goal contribution in every away game this season except for Fulham (the only game we haven't scored in at all).
3 goals and 7 assists in 9 games away from home.
