Its pretty scary to look at our full squad list to see how many of them could be sold this year!
I would say that the following are definites - GARDNER,CERNY,LEE,ROCHA,MURPHY,STALTIERI,GHALY.
the following pretty likely -
ROBINSON,TAINIO,EKOTTO.
the following possibles -
BOATENG,KABOUL,TARAABT.
and finally the one we don't want to happen -
BERBATOV.
Thats a possible 14 players going, not to mention the ones we will be buying!
This will be one crazy summer for sure!

I can't see all of them going. Do 14 clubs want to buy them? And there wouldnt be much time left over for us to sign anyone!

Oh right.....another one of these threads.

Why does everyone think Ekotto will go? He's been injured, and he didnt look that bad when he wasn't. Also, Boateng and Kaboul will be given at least one more season. You cant give up on players just because they're first season in the premiership wasnt that good. The premiership is notoriously difficult to adjust to, and plenty of players have gone on to flourish after a poor first season.

I agree with your first seven. However I think Robinson and Berbatov might go if the price is right, 40 million for both? The rest have one more year to prove themselves.

I understand your point but if you look at the list of players I have mentioned very few (Berbatov apart)have featured under Ramos. Therefore none of them would be missed from Juandes first team if they were sold!

Now theres a question -What do you think Robinson is worth in todays transfer market?
I think we would be very lucky to get £4 -£5 million for him!

Still be in with a profit at that value.... One thing that is safe to say is that we will not lose much if any money on the named players if they go.

If all the players are sold - no we would not lose any money.
However I do think we would lose money on Rocha,Kaboul and Boateng !

Ramos would be foolish to let Ekotto go having never seen him play. Plus we'd get bugger all for him after being injured for a season. Better off letting him go out on loan if we're not gonna use him next season.

Kaboul will come good, I'm confident of that. Defenders will make mistakes, especially at a young age, and that is how they will learn and develop. The premiership is so fast paced that defenders have to have lightning quick reactions, this comes from experience, to the point where you have done the drills in training and faced the situations so many times in matches that the reaction is automatic without even thinking about it. I strongly believe that the way to breed quality defenders its the way in which Ledley was developed. He made plenty of mistakes at a young age but gradually, and with the help of mentors such as Sol and Naybet, he has developed into a top class CB. Plus we'd never get 8 million back on Younes so whats the point in taking a loss when we can give him another season to prove himself.

I hope we find "Serendipity" during this "One Crazy Summer" in the transfer market. We are "Better off Dead" than making bad decisions this summer that could see us "Floundering" on "The Way to Wellville". It would be best to invest in the "Sure Thing" rather than listening to "The Grifters" parading themselves as agents. Needless to say "The Cradle Will Rock" if we allow ourselves to be duped by a "Con. Air" on the side of caution, I always "Say. Anything" we do needs to be good for the team tactically, lest we show our "True Colors" and spend "Money for Nothing" like we did last year.

What's scarier is that Levy and his cronies believed, to the point of putting it in black and white on the Official Site, that our current squad (minus Woody, Gilberto and Gunter) could deliver CL footy.

For the love of God,HE IS ON LOAN!

The following is taken from the official wrap-up on the official site.

"Danny Murphy was the most recent of the departures from the
Club this summer when he secured a permanent move to Fulham in the final hour on
deadline day,
while Mido was sold earlier in the month to Middlesbrough. Emil
Hallfredsson, Reto Ziegler, Mark Yeates, Charlie Lee and Robert Burch also left
us and we wish them all the best in the future. Meanwhile, Lee Barnard has
joined Crewe Alexandra on loan until January, Charlie Daniels has hooked up with
Leyton Orient for the season and Jamie O’Hara went to Millwall for a month’s
loan in August."
