Nosworthy is at best an average Premiership player, and I don't even know which position we'd consider him for.

At RB, I'd put him behind: Chimbonda, Tainio, Ifil, Gunter & Stalteri.

At RCB, I'd put him behind: Dawson, Kaboul, Rocha, Dervitte (and of course Ledley except the King is likely to play LCB).

Crucially, Dawson can only play RCB and Kaboul has looked better since he's not been asked to play LCB, so we really do not need another average RCB.

Also, if Nosworthy was really top half of the EPL material, Sunderland would certainly not be swapping him for Routledge (ie a pricetag of c£2 million).

Richardson? Nosworthy? Kenwyne Jones?

Come on people lets wait until the last week of the window before we get desperate to sign second rate players.

I'm glad someone is on my wavelength. I mean yes Sunderland are an awesome force in the Premiership and I'd give my left testicle for us to sign Grant Leadbitter, but we just have to be realistic.

Well I suppose we could go in for Dwight Yorke as a 5th striker... We do need to score more goals...

If you rate transfers on the orgasmic scale, this piece of ITK probably had one singular solitary spurmazola tadpole packing it's suitcase.

Wayne Routledge

QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has told Tottenham he will not be held to ransom over a possible deal for winger Wayne Routledge.

Rangers have cash to spend during the current transfer window and have already brought in players including Gavin Mahon, Hogan Ephraim and Patrick Agyemang.

Now Paladini wants to add out-of-favour flyer Routledge, 22, to boss Luigi De Canio's options but a fee has not been agreed with Spurs.

"Wayne would do well here but although we now have solid finances, nobody is going to pay silly money," Paladini is quoted as saying in the News of the World.

Meanwhile, England international Jermaine Defoe is tipped to sign a new deal to end speculation over a move away from White Hart Lane.

Sounds like we're trying to take advantage of QPR's new found wealth.

He looked decent at Palace and in t4he few games he played for us before he go injured. Hasn't shown anything since, either here or on loan. It's only a matter of time before he leaves.

Thought he played well against derby & should've played more last season when Lennon was out.

He was frozen out by Jol and I think he's struggled with confidence since, on that basis I think ir's unfair to write him off based on his loan performances.

If he goes out on loan again, can see him linking up with Iain Dowie at Coventry who he played for at Palace before we signed him. It will then give Ramos the chance to see him in action before he decides whether to get rid in the summer or not. Obviously, I'm assuming that Ramos gets a choice!

SSN say QPR have offered us £1.8m for Wayne. Still a way short of Levy's valuation.

I would take 1.8M, for a guy thats hardly played any top flight football recently I think asking anymore would be taking the piss slightly, however Wayne has the potential, I think he just needs games. Knowing Levy, he'll probably squeeze 3M out of some desperate team (like Fulham)

With good reason. When he got back into the side he was shite and threw his toys out of the pram when Jol subbed him as a sub.
