It’s easy for Wayne to prove that he didn’t sleep with her. “Colleen, does she look 60? Nothing happened”.

There is no way those photos are recent. He's half the size and has significantly more hair.

I don't have sympathy with him at all.

He's a coach of a team now and should be focused on that and bettering himself. Being a role model to his players. Setting an example.

Meanwhile there are coaches out there dedicated to their job, making smart decisions and not interested in getting out of control.

It's just another example of why he'll never amount to much as a coach.

Like the image of him eating that giant lollipop. He supposedly got a home built cinema with a popcorn machine and drink dispenser. No wonder he looks about 50.

In comparison Ronaldo, who is older than him, has really taken care of himself and has a strict diet. Never getting drunk. Totally dedicated to the sport.

Sorry for the rant but it annoys me because the likes of Rooney, Lampard and Campbell always get a leg up and that means others more deserving don't get these jobs.

The girls are obviously scumbags too but then why would you get involved with these types. As a famous person you could easily keep your distance. ie; get a VIP area if you really wanna booze it with pals.

Why are others more deserving? Football isn't a "Best Behaved" trophy.

Lloris has done worse than Rooney (or on par). Van der Vaart was a complete shit off the pitch. Lots of examples of people who have done far worse but get off lightly because they're more likeable.

One problem with Rooney is that he's English, and he'll always be targeted domestically because of that, because the media are rotten to the core.

Man gets pissed. Man goes back to girls flat. Girls take pictures of man passed out. girls post pictures on social media. Man reports it to the police.

What a complete and utter waste of police time, like they haven't got anything better to be doing.

He's been blackmailed with it. Could be far more sinister than you're passing it off to be.

You only have to listen to him speak to realize he isnt the brightest fellow out there. Thats not meant to be derogatory, he is what he is.

It’s in the photos posted yesterday!

You'll be telling us next he was dragged kicking and screaming to the hotel bedroom under gunpoint. And looking at the girls involved, particularly the one who appears to be farting in Rooney's face, I doubt they could even spell blackmail.

It's frivolous and a waste of everyone's time, particularly the police.

The second photo is basically blackmail.

I bet this happens to footballers on a weekly basis. He needs to get the police involved. They may not think there’s a case but it needs investigating.

Agree, except it is literally blackmail. The very epitome of it.

Well I know that but if you're going out getting obliterated and out of control then your players go out and do the same, how is that going to work when you need to reprimand them?

I work in football and I always tell younger players to stay away from situations that could get them into bother. Imagine if I went out and did the same and how invalid my advice becomes.

I think if your source of wealth is generated through being in the public eye then the shitside is having this potentially happening to you. Its just a consequence. Just seems odd that it's just him in these situations and no one else from that era! (Excluding Giggs)!

It's not, they tried to extort money from him.
