That stat is dependent on the quality of players that can be brought on. If you bring on Salah or Mané, then it's likely to have more effect than some of the players we can bring on.
Look, I'm sorry if some of you can't accept the fact that Sissoko isn't whatever it is you thought you were getting. He was brought on because he moves the play forward, and this was crucial when we had just lost a central defender. His play kept pressure off the defence. His positioning in games is excellent and you don't see him caught out of position. This is why Poch uses him and why he's in the French national team. He brought the ball out well in one move and it was Kane's poor touch that not only caused the move to break down, but also put us in trouble with their counter attack. But i don't remember you saying anything about that. I expect the same rubbish to come Lamela's way from the same smackheads who used to constantly moan about him, again because he wasn't what their tiny little minds had imagined.I agree... so why bring on sissoko first rather than Lamela or winks or just about anyone in our squad who can control a football?
It is ok.
We are really, really good. We are just unlucky. Such a shame that the ref/the woodwork/the FA/the media is against us, because really without that, we'd be the best. So anybody critical should chill out.
You're absolutely right with what you are saying. The only problem I have with Sissoko is that he's never going to make a huge contribution in terms of winning us a game. I had no qualms with Sissoko coming on in that situation because we needed someone to contribute defensively as Eriksen looked spent and as you say his positioning is great. However, against WBA, Leicester etc we can't turn to Sissoko and think "He will change the game for us" and this is precisely why ppl are concerned, it's not especially Sissoko' s fault, he has his qualities but he's never going to be a player who'll win us a game when we are up against it. If we'd have bothered to bring in another attacking player who offers something different then I'm pretty sure Sissoko wouldn't be getting so much stick as ppl wouldn't be focusing on what he can't do.Look, I'm sorry if some of you can't accept the fact that Sissoko isn't whatever it is you thought you were getting. This. Sissoko was a wicked sub to beef the midfield for us being a man down.Look, I'm sorry if some of you can't accept the fact that Sissoko isn't whatever it is you thought you were getting. What, as if Eriksen, Kane or Dele could yesterday. Stop with this anti-Sissoko rhetoric. It's cliche and boring. He was good when he came on and had one or two really good passes and runs. Kane couldn't control the ball at all yesterday, and Dele to be honest was a waste of space. Even Dembele had problems with ball control, and Erisken other than the ONE stellar pass, did sweet FA. So laying it into Sissoko is intelectual laziness. Lamela actually squandered a really promising counter, cos he wanted to take on 3 people.I agree... so why bring on sissoko first rather than Lamela or winks or just about anyone in our squad who can control a football?
Right now it's only 4 points off fourth, soon it will be 4 pts off 6th and so on. Luck has got nothing to do with it. If you can't see the abyss in quality between now and a month and a half ago, then mate, there is little that is going to convice you that we're in MAJOR crisis mode right now. This is not some little run of bad results. We get outplayed by the big and the small. Results are one thing but this team has lost its edge. That is where the crisis is.I know you're joking but most that is correct, apart from being "the best".
Obviously we could be playing better atm BUT we are really, really good, we are unlucky at the moment, the media have turned on us after building up so high, we have been unlucky with refs recently and everyone wetting their bed should chill out, we are only 4 points off 4th
So nice post

1 win in 6 now is it? We can't put more than one past teams we steamrolled over last season... And they play tactically better than us... No, you're right...It is not a MAJOR crisis.
It is not a MAJOR crisis.
The media haven't turned on us they are doing what they have always done and that is when your playing well then your teacher's pet sitting at the front row, but when your not as good you sit at the back of the class until good again.I know you're joking but most that is correct, apart from being "the best".

This 100%, someone in the match ratings thread has Sissoko as our worst player yesterday....I know most of it is probably agenda driven, but it really does illustrate a complete lack of understanding.Look, I'm sorry if some of you can't accept the fact that Sissoko isn't whatever it is you thought you were getting. I think the real problem for most is only a month or so ago we were third and now we are 7 points off third. It all happened so quickly. I think we started the season ok and teams like Liverpool and Arsenal had bad starts. It seems to have totally reversed itself in the last month and we are sitting in 6th and challenging for 4th now seems a tough task!I know you're joking but most that is correct, apart from being "the best".

We're the second highest team in the league in terms to chances created. This does not constitute a crisis. I'm more interested in how we are playing and apart from starting games slowly, our play warrants more goals than we are getting. Yesterday, we showed steel in not losing.Right now it's only 4 points off fourth, soon it will be 4 pts off 6th and so on. Luck has got nothing to do with it.
