Agbonlahor is rubbish. Even when he scores, most of the time it's a mishit shot.

He misses way too many chances as well.

I'm not keen on Agbonlahor. I would prefer Young if we're going for a Villa player. I just don't think Agbonlahor is the type of striker we need.

£180m, no chance. Although I can see us spending about £50m, but we'll get a good amount back on sales.

The England player could be James, I really hope we can get Joe Cole though.

Not knocking the ITK, but in my opinion there is no way we are spending £180m.

That may be the figure the source used, but Levy is the one holding the purse strings and there is no way he will santion £180m, no way.

In association with the 180 mill, Thats to spend, whether its just on players I wasnt told Im assuming its towards stadia, youth things like that. Either that or its what we will make.

Surely one stadium is enough? Though I could understand it if Manure decided to build an extra stadium in, say, London or Hong Kong seeing as that's where most of their fans are based.

Very difficult to believe the £180m part of this, seems a hell of a lot of money!

Not sure how I would feel about Agbonlahor playing for us. Didn't exacctly live up to Martin O' Neill's hype (in a WC year). Would like to think that we would get a more experienced striker in with a better scoring record and some international credibility behind him.

10 players going could be the most accurate part of the post though........we still have a few fringe players that are not going to cut it next season.

Gabby is a very, very, VERY average forward. Mentioned in the same breath as Fabiano is borderline hysterical.

Can't see us spending much more than £40m in total, never mind over £100m!!!

Fabiano or Agbonlahor?

Tough one that... equivalent to world-class striker or Darren Bent Mark-II?

Dervite, Alnwick, Taarabt, One of the Kyles, O'Hara, Hutton, Pav or Keane, Jenas, GDS... ok actually it could really be around 10 players...

That’s a lot of players on our books, considering none of them had a telling contribution towards our 4th place finish bar Pav and Keane.

I'm not keen on Agbonlahor. I would prefer Young if we're going for a Villa player. I just don't think Agbonlahor is the type of striker we need.

I thought the story of last summer was young had 1.5 years left on his contract....

The England player could be James, I really hope we can get Joe Cole though.

Please not James.

I know, but fabiano is soon to be 30, im assuming 18 mill for a 30 year old isnt levys cup of tea.

Agbonlahor strong, pacey and lethal on his day. Type of player harry would love to work with. Still young.

Which day is that......and are we likely to have a match that day???

No better than any of our current strikers, imo.

Fabiano would be so great to have, would fit our needs pretty darn well, would get along with Gomes and maybe help Sandro fit in quicker as well.

Wouldn't be upset with Agbonlahor but would play half as much because there is no way he and Defoe could play together IMO. So don't see the point, would rather go for Fabiano or Dzeko.(yeah I know it is a dream) Anyone who could play with Defoe better, Even Carew or Heskey would be better fits than Agbonlahor but would not be my first choices.

Well, if it's a striker from the England team we're either signing Heskey or Rooney, because we've got the little one and the large one already.

There's not many in the midfield I wouldn't take. Aside from Hart, I'm not fussed about the goalies.

Bold = Stoof say yes please
Blue = Got already innit
Red = Are you having a laugh?
hmmm = hmmm

Robert Green - hmmm
Joe Hart
David James - hmmm

Jamie Carragher
Ashley Cole
Rio Ferdinand
Glen Johnson
Ledley King
John Terry
Matthew Upson - hmmm
Stephen Warnock - hmmm

Gareth Barry
Michael Carrick
Joe Cole
Steven Gerrard
Frank Lampard
Aaron Lennon
James Milner
Shaun Wright-Phillips - hmmm

Peter Crouch
Jermain Defoe
Emile Heskey - hmmm
Wayne Rooney

So actually think about it, does it not come down to those five?

Would assume Cole was the most likely of those 5 but for the improvement of our team Carrick would be so good to have, could really help Hudd's development as well. How nasty would we be with Carrick and Modric in central midfield for home games? Palacios and Hudd could be our away game destroyers and for both sets we would have a good passer of the ball out on the pitch at all times.
