Glad Eriksen has been given a rest. Has looked knackered recently, and was very poor on Thursday.

Not sure what Lamela has done to be ahead of Chadli but I suppose it's all about rotation at the moment.

What did he say? I've not heard these stories
Was walking around the ground one night. Groundsman asked for help getting rid of pigeons off the roof of a stand, Gazza went up one of the pigeons scared him so he fell and got a massive bruise. Said to the manage he couldn't train and blamed a pigeon!

If we're resting Eriksen, I have no idea why we're playing Townsend instead of Chadli in place of him.

Thats the thing though, how many games has Chadli started? Rotation isn't even coming into it. I am pro-Lamela, but the questions need to be asked why both him and Andros are being chosen ahead of Nacer at the moment.

I'd be a lot more confident if Chadli was starting to.

Praying this is the game Townsend/Lamela really make an impact in the League.

Owen makes a good point, why did we not rest Eriksen against Fiorentina?

Agreed. I reckon Chadders deserves more starts ahead of both Lamela and Townsend, but let's hope both of them show us why they've been picked today.

Makes sense to rest Eriksen definately. Townsend started well on Thursday so I can understand him playing. Shame to not see Chadli really but hopefully Lamela takes his chance.

A lot rests on Dembele today, hope he plays like he has been playing recently.

I'm also not 100% happy with Mason and Bentaleb playing together again. Really think we need to use Stambouli in the next few games.

Good decision to rest Eriksen.

Not convinced on Townsend.

Fiorentina's formation suited his game and flattered him.

Will be hauled off after 60 today
