I'm also not 100% happy with Mason and Bentaleb playing together again. Really think we need to use Stambouli in the next few games.
Hopefully we will do so against Fiorentina who i am guessing will look to attack so a bit of cover would be nice.

No Adebola?

I think we need to see Eric stand up today. Pleased to see Andros stating.

I agree about Lamela, He does always put a shift in, but I now want to see him giving the opposition something to worry about. I hope he starts on the left, it was his most natural position and where he started his football. I see it as a fruitless task to play him on the right as things stand now.

Makes sense to rest Eriksen definately. Townsend started well on Thursday so I can understand him playing. Shame to not see Chadli really but hopefully Lamela takes his chance.

A lot rests on Dembele today, hope he plays like he has been playing recently.

Totally agree. Dembele's power on the ball for us could well be the difference. If he has a big game we'll win I reckon.

I would actually prefer to see Anros on the left tbh.

Thats the thing though, how many games has Chadli started? Rotation isn't even coming into it. I am pro-Lamela, but the questions need to be asked why both him and Andros are being chosen ahead of Nacer at the moment.

Been racking my brains also, as to why Chadli hasn't been starting. I'm sure Nacer must still be in a state of grieving. People react differently. It may tell on the training ground. He also may not be back to 100% fitness yet. Miss his assist/goal threat - and feel much more confident when he's in the side. One of my favourite players to watch on his day. Power and pace, in and around the box, with a direct goal threat - love the dimension it adds to the team.

Not sure how Chadli has played himself out of the starting 11, was in very good form then his dad died and he's barely started a game since. Obviously a difficult time for him but I would have thought he would have been keen to get back playing and I'm surprised it's taking so long for him to be restored to the starting line-up.

Eh? I am 100% that is our best 2 in the middle. Stam away from home is a good option.

I think we'll get more out of Bentaleb with a more defensive player alongside him, and for me Bentaleb is better than Mason.

Mason's energy is great, but his passing has been poor in recent games.

Seems Dier has been promoted to numero uno. Right CB and LB well covered. Just a bit puzzled as to what is happening with Yedlin.

We need good engines in that position, and have the ability to get passes fwd, both of them provide this for us. You are 100% right. I like Stam and think he offers us a good shield when we need to defend, but not sure what he offers us going fwd. Mason and Bentaleb for me, no questions.

Mourinho's losing the plot on Goals on Sunday. It's hilarious.

I think it is far too early to chuck Yedlin in yet, given the big games we have coming up. Would be nice to see how he shapes up though..
