That performance should have silenced some of the doubters about Saha and nelson ) very happy, saw the first 3 goals at the pub but had to leave!

Sounds like such a performance, great goal difference and perhaps maybe a sweetener for Harry to stay!

impressed with saha, i didnt see the point of him with his injury record but hopefully he stays sharp and fit andi can enjoy more humble pie

Nelson though, meh. newcastles one chance in the whole came when he replaced King and BA ghosted in front of him to get a free header on goal

doesnt matter though with Kaboul hopefully coming back soon, and touch wood a fit ledley king! what a beast, BA had nothing while he was on the pitch, love the man

Yep. I don't like to blow my own horn but I have mentioned numerous times on here how Saha and Ade can work together, and forge a good partnership. They were top class, both of them.

I got laughed at in the ITK thread on dead line day for saying I was happy with the signing of Saha

Posted before but I had a good feeling that he was going to score today.

Will he be next to go into the Parker and Friedel 'Harry knows best' transfers -it's looking likely and that's very pleasing!

Think about it from a Modric perspective, I would prefer Arsenal get 4th than Chelsea.
I would think we'd need to be more concerned about the team currently sitting in first place as regards any possible Modric departure in the summer, no? Why would he join a team that's 10 points worse off than us and will probably sack their manager in the summer?

Saha and Ade looked great together. Both full of energy, both strong and both with good feet (esepcially Saha in terms of shooting). Funny how in terms of partnerships all eyes were on Ba and Cisse but Adebayor and Saha stole the spotlight.

I thought Defoe actually played alright when he came on but I really think Saha offers a lot more. Today he was almost like a Defoe who was involved in our build up play and could also play as a target man.

I wish I had said it on here at the time, but when we played Everton not long back I said too my dad at the game that we could do worse than look at bringing Saha in in the transfer window.

We've upgraded Pav, we made some cash and have a guy who will accept being rotated regularly.

Great piece of business.
