We scored 3 goals that were offside, one was correctly taken off While the other 2 were wrong given.

City had 1 goal that was offside and was wrongly given.

Yes our first changed the game, but so did theirs. All this bollocks of our goal changed the game for city is void as city shouldn't have been ahead so a draw at ht was correct! We were still 1 up before Kane scored his offside goal, and still scored another good goal anyway.

Ok, we are all on a high now but the ball and ref decisions won't be bouncing Spurs' way in every game. Like in the game vs Arsenal just a few days, I believe Spurs did well yet lost due to "wrong bonces" and Spurs fans were up in arms (not all) - particularly vs Vorm, Faizo and Poch!
Me, I prefer the "middle path" - maybe in a Buddhist way - and not be carried away too much with this win, nor be carried away in the opposite direction with a loss.

Fair enough - but as a supporter we live for the good moments. If you can't Get a high from yesterdays performance when will you?

I'm sick of hearing how many players City had out. The players that played for City yesterday cost £300mil ffs.

Let's hope that we build on this win. If memory serves me right the last few times that we've won when playing the Poch philosophy we've undone all the hard work by losing the next game. Everton, Chelski, Arse games last year.

I didn't see motd but could it be a case that the pundit's summary of the game with regard to the "offside goals", was their way of explaining the egg on their faces?

That's what normally happens.
The big team gets a incorrect decision in their favour which changes the course of the game.
Smaller team has to chase game and gets thumped.
Pundits tell us how wonderful big team played completely missing the point.
9/10 big team wins.
Not this time though :)

And they should have been down to 10 men but all you get from commentators is 'he can count himself lucky boy there.'
No. He should have bloody been sent off.

More disappointed that no-one in tbe media picked up on the fact that we had a 21 and 19 year old dominating midfield for us, both English lads too which is even more surprising, when are our players barring Kane gonna get the recognition they deserve?

They did pretty much balancxe out though, on the whole. Their goal shouldn't have counted and they clearly should have been down to 10 men. Ref had a shocker

Can I remind people that our first goal was not offside, Walker was offside in the previous phase of play but the keeper saved it at which point it did not come out to Dier, despite what a pundit said last night, it came out to a Man City player with all the time and space in the world.
This player could have run it out or knocked it off or passed back to hos keeper to kick out or passed it to his colleague to his left, but instead, under no pressure he rolled it nicely into the path of Eric Dier and that is the only relevant fact.

I dont know why anybody reacts to the offside stuff

Is it in the record book, yes. End of.

I remember Danny Baker once saying on 606 that the best goal you could ever score was one in the last minute against your fiercest rivals that was offside ! just forget it.

I agree. It's not like we could do any thing about it anyway. It isn't like our players conned the ref or some thing with a handball goal.

We played amazingly well.

We're Spurs so nobody will give us any credit until we really start tearing up trees. I like it, and hope our players continue to fly under the radar without extra media and fan expectation. I'm sure Hodgson noticed how good Dier in particular was and I'm sure he's delighted by the progress of Alli too. He wasn't there just to watch Kane...

I'll put this out there. Our national team will gain huge benefits over the next few years from Pochettino and his policy of bringing youth players through the academy and buying young English talent and actually playing them.

When talking through the scores at half time of the 3pm's, Jeff Stelling failed to mention City's goal being offside and claimed Walker was FIVE yards offside. Utterly ridiculous bias.

Re watched the entire game online now. Every player had their great moments in the game. Still buzzing.
Long way to go - but surely we have a decent chances to be in top4, if we continue to defend this way.

Completely agree, if we finish the season with the best or second best defence in the league, we'll finish top 4 no doubt. The purchase of new defenders over the summer is already proving to be astute.

On a separate note. Mangala and Otamendi cost City over £60m. Dier was £7m and Alderweireld a reported £11.4m. I know who got the better deals...
