I'm going for a narrow 2-1 win to Spurs.

Just have that feeling and Silva out is key for me despite their impressive strength in depth. Swarm all over them and I'm backing Kane to get off the mark tomorrow. Eriksen to.

On the down side: Last season, the aggregate score versus Citeh was 5-1 to them. The season before was 11-1 to them. Aguero fills his boots against us. We even make Navas look world class when we play them. And they've just had their wake-up call from West Ham & Juve.

On the up side: They were just beaten by West Ham, so the blue print is there. And we have in Alli and Son we have a couple of high-energy players who don't just pass sideways. If they can support Kane, we might surprise the odds and ourselves.

Can't get optimistic about tomorrow, despite our last few results which is a shame really. Wednesday night could well be more important if we go a goal down early.

I think a majority of fans do have a frustration about the line up selected and that could boil over if we start badly in a game we prioritised over a Derby

I have a really weird feeling this will be the game that Dier catches the public eye. We've known as Spurs fans that he's started the season well, but he needs a big performance against a top side to prove how capable he is. Bossing Yaya for 90 will do it!

It a bit worrying that England's best DM isn't even a DM.

Poch 's team need to lay down a marker, a clear indication that the team and his philosophy are moving forward in a structured fashion not just limping along; Its fair enough to beat Palace at home ;but then again we should be beating Palace at home .COYS.

Fully expecting City to win comprehensively.

Aguero is a nightmare every time he plays us.

Would love a win but expecting nothing.

Struggling to see us getting a positive result today - but then I said that last season against Arsenal and Chelsea so who knows!

Don't get your hopes up, expect the worst and hope for a miracle. I'm hoping to not lose by more than 2 goals and will be very happy with a draw.

Put it this way, I feel more confident this morning than I've ever felt in the last three years since the Harry era.

I have faith that players of a certain mental calibre such as Alli, Dier, Lamela(!), Son, and Kane are not just going to roll over like some of the floppy AVB sides of the past, or even last season with much of our uninspired deadwood still featuring.

This set of players feels different. Make no mistake, our young side will be up for it - and I'll think it'll be a close game. I certainly don't think we will be teeing ourselves up for a drubbing like recent years..

Really? I'm expecting a turgid, lacklustre defeat.

Not meaning to tempt fate, but I'm glad we're not getting thumped like we did a while back under Sherwood and AVB. Coming out of games having lost by at least 3 goals was getting very depressing, regardless the side.
