I hate it when this thread gets bumped and there is no new information.

Maybe its just me but I dont see the Saudi league grabbing a foothold.

Regardless of the star players most arent going to get emotionally invested in Al-Nassr v Al Fateh.

Thats what the league will lack, tribalism.

Players that go will see their profile wane and the young guns who take their place in the PL and CL will become worldwide superstars
Ironic in a country based on tribes

Imagine the tears from Utd fans if the Qataris say **** you to the Glazers and give Levy £6 billion quid :ROFLMAO:

In fairness, we have the infrastructure already to be a superpower.

All they would have to do is spend some money on transfers.

I was just wondering earlier if this might be the best time for Enic to sell up? The last few years were fairly gloomy but right now there’s a buzz about the place and we’re obviously top of the table with an exciting young squad and mega stadium etc.

Does this make us more valuable or is there more to consider? After falling down the table last season would they want to try to sell now as there’s no guarantee we’ll keep this form going? I’m not a finance person so have no clue how this works? Maybe our good fortune will make Enic less likely to sell or ask for an unreasonable price?

What do the experts among you think?

Looks like it's Sir Jim with the minority stake and our old friend Paul Mitchell on board as sporting director according to Ben Jacobs.

Probably the perfect time for all parties for a sale or a mega naming rights deal.

Other than having a shit ton of money, does he have any experience of football club ownership? What will his plan be for running a club? We made Levy put out a plan, I assume that if he glances in our direction he'll be under the same scrutiny.

Or is it just all about having money now?
