I wouldn’t be surprised that news from last night will be QSI in disguise by saying it is individuals instead

Doesn’t appear to be QSI but could be the people who were looking at Liverpool?

we have a bundle of American owners in the prem. there isn’t really much to stop ‘’Qatari’’ businessmen buying multiple clubs, long as the companies/owners are all legally separate.

wouldn’t be entirely surprised to see us take some cash from QSI and both Man United/Liverpool get bought out by different groups of Qataris. Not sure it would be good for the league though.

A journalist on SSN this morning said that his contacts at Raine group, who are running the bidding, haven’t had any contact with Qatar and he thinks this might be a leak to flush out bidders.

Jim Ratcliffe, reputedly the UK's richest man, moved on from bidding for Chelsea to his bid for Man Utd. He had also been rumoured to be interested in buying West Ham, according to Wikipedia. Could he now switch to Spurs? He obviously would like to own a Premier League Club

"high-wealth individuals based in the oil-rich state" - such a poorly written article, Qatar doesn't have major oil reserves, they have natural gas.

It would be terrible for the league. Two to three clubs owned by the same entity? Very dodgy. I wouldn’t like our chances of getting a fair go of it should QSI decide to invest in Liverpool and United as well as us.

It would be a terrible look for the PL to allow it whilst this investigation of Man City is being undertaken. It would undermine it somewhat.
