Can't we have the intelligent option, let's see?

It's bloody ridiculous the way people are speaking about him. He may be good he may be shit. None of us kno yet, I am prepared like every manager to judge on performances and results.

nothing to do with Tim or AVB or whoever.

Sadly a large majority Spurs 'fans' just want us to be like Chelsea or City. These people dont enjoy the game they just want to wear the shirt of a trendy team.

Sorry dude, i've not read the comments in the thread, but this is the problem at the moment. It shouldn;t be either or. I don't know the guy, so I can't say as I love him or hate him. He is the Spurs manager and we should all get behind him, simple as that.

This thread is going to go the same way as all the others

I'm not a particular fan of his no and nor do I subscribe to some his very questionable rhetoric but much like @JUSTINSIGNAL only a fool would actually want him to fail to be proven right but it's completely counter productive for the club as a whole.

Very sceptical in the medium to long term with him at the helm and even taking a short termist view, he's been fortunate with results and a good share of luck on his side but 3 points is 3 points and as long as he manages by hook or by crook to secure them then ultimately that is the overwhelming factor in how he's perceived.

Hope I'm proven wrong, but I don't see success, be it league position or cups under Sherwood.

It doesnt really have to go that way. The reason I only put two options in is to stop that happening. gut feeling right now. like\dislike. dont get bogged down with the marmite analogy.

ooooh I see what you did there. I didnt say discuss. just intrested in the poll results. I cant seem to fathom who does and who doesnt like him. is he more hated than liked??

I think most reasonable people aren't too fussed one way or the other right now. And again, it isn't as simple as hate or like. Do you want him in charge or don't you, would perhaps have been a better way of putting it, as it stands, I don't think you're going to learn a great deal.

The Sherwood Out thread is pretty much driven by half a dozen posters with a smattering of nutcases from both camps going around and around in circles.

I'd rather he wasn't our manager but I also think he's gone in the summer so any cockwaving to back up why I don't want him as our manager is pointless and a complete waste of my time, i'm playing the long game. And meanwhile, if he does really great and proves me wrong, then that's excellent.

No love, no hate and no fucking Marmite ;)

Have you not read the 85,534 threads? It's a piece of piss to see who likes him and who doesn't

I'm sorry but IMO this is only heading toward one conclusion.

If you're only going to offer two options, firstly only an idiot is going to 'love' him, he's done fuck all to deserve to be 'loved' and you'd have to be plankton to 'hate' him for the same reasons. So you're forcing a choice that won't really give a true reflection. There are those who don't think he deserves/should have the job or think he's gone in the summer anyway so are supporting him until then. How do they vote? Love him? Hate him?

Not to mention that this thread will almost certainly descend into the same tired debate that's currently raging all over the site. At which point it'll likely be closed or merged, because we've got enough of it already.
He's a farking geeezzzzeeeerrr me old china and that's why I love him! ;-)

I don't like him. I hope he wins the League. Liking him isn't really important if he's good enough.
