It's getting crayzee out there. I didn't think I would make it in. The hoodlums from the local estate are coming down...they smell blood and the opportunity for some looting.

Mr Broken Clock is milking his twice a day, out there...it's chaos. They're burning Tibbsy in effigy - I hope that's all it is! Has anyone seen him since he established this haven, he told me he was going back out to look for survivors, I ain't seen him since. I woulda went with him but...but I just can't...oh Gawd...oh Gawd! I've even heard reports of cannibalisationism...oh GAAAAWWWWWWWWWWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD :-O

I work with quite a few, our office used to be just outside Winchester

Why are you in here? This is a local ostriches with their heads in the sand thread for local ostriches with their heads in the sand. There's no place for your sort around here!

I choose to see this as nothing more than a bad spell. Almost every team has it during the course of the season, and when you look at some of our better peformances this season (QPR, Sunderland, Southampton, Man City and Arsenal were all good performances imo), I think it's safe to say that we have potential hidden not too far below the surface. If we can get out of the bad spell, and into a good one, with 4th still within range, this could possibly be a very successful season for us.

PS: This is a bit more optimistic than I'm actually feeling at the moment, but if we sort or form out in time to snatch a cup win, I don't care where we end up in the table (as long as its top 17).

Lamela's going to teach Messi how to play football agin when he meets up with the Argentina squad. Could increase his confidence and leadership ability.

Remember when Chris Perry and Ben Thatcher were considered 1st team players.....
Danny Rose, even on a bad day, is better than Ben Thatcher.

I have pretty much given up on the league now but good news..... We are still in all 3 cups!!!!

Bout time we fucking won something, getting worse than the Arse. We better win one this year.

I would be happy if we finished mid table, sold all our trash between Christmas and summer windows, won the Europa and League Cup and then sit back in the summer and build a team that the manager wants for once.

Hahaha you've got to love us spurs fans....loads of shit going on around us, lost four out of the last five home games, all over tomos back pages as a fucking laughing stock, fans booing their own players, fans fighting amongst each other and this guy is saying we might win two cups this year......fuck me that is optimistic.

And yet strangely I feel the same.

Fuck me.

The rides more fun and the support more fulfilling if you believe or at least dream, don't you think?

Sadly going by the recent home support and the common trend on here, you are vastly out numbered my friend.

It's certainly not easy to motivate to be a bit measured and positive going forward, and God knows I havent always tried to be like this...but I was just getting depressed with all the negative stuff, the arguing, the bitching, the mindless slagging off. I don't mind criticism as long as it is backed up with a bit of thought. But the arguing among fans, the agendas and the awful awful atmosphere at the Lane had taken some of the enjoyment away from supporting Spurs.

I'm not burying my head in the sand, but trying to be a bit measured, focussing on some of the enjoyable moments so far and supporting the lads while it's difficult.

I'm certainly enjoying it this way more at the moment.

I agree with most of this.

Poch is learning about the players all the time so we were always going be inconsistent. I think when we come out the other side of this bad spell I could see us going on a good run and finishing top 6. You only have to look at the turnaround at Newcastle to see how one good result can inject the confidence needed for a positive upturn in fortunes.

Love the Eriksen vid. Find it amusing that people are calling him out as if he's some talentless wanker. Just needs to be in a good team and a consistent one.

We have some really good players. They just need more time together.
