We were deservedly beaten at our own game. No one deserved Player of the Match in my opinion as we are not as good as we think we are.

Went for Emerson, hasn't played for ages and was one of less terrible performances on the pitch

And it could be considered generous.

Shocking from Ange. There really is no plan B. No even plan A with a tweak.
Midfield was poor, but for me Biss and Madders are ball carriers for us and they were not showing for defenders. In the attacking third, Madders was standing in the Newcastle backline instead of pulling the strings and creating chances. Wtf was PEH trying to unlock the defence? That was Madders job.

Defence was poor but when the midfield offer nothing to protect or help transition the ball, Im not going to criticise the defenders.

Newcastle pressed the fuck out of us and, for some unknown reason, we decided it was a good idea to encourage them to do so by faffing around at the back and letting them win every 50/50 ball. We failed to engage in any area of the pitch.

They were right.

Under their reigns, Players followed instructions for 6 months and the team made good progress. 6 months later the players reverted to cowardice, standing like mannequins and making useless side passes. Pussies all.
