Love the Eriksen vid. Find it amusing that people are calling him out as if he's some talentless wanker. Just needs to be in a good team and a consistent one.

We have some really good players. They just need more time together.

I was watching some Lamela highlights yesterday, and in glimpses and patches he has shown some wonderful talent.

they havent worked effectively together yet, or shown consistency, but for these two 22 year olds to be written off as useless is mind boggling to me.

I'm just about to make a cheese and onion sarnie with a cup of tea for lunch. My thoughts are that we should go back to basics.

Remember when we weren't really looking at the table that much. Each fixture was just spurs vs some one else (not thought of as points needed).

Also, Kaboul is not suddenly shit. He's having a fucking tough time, i agree with that, but pre captaincy he was a beast.

Vertonghen is also a very very good defender who is struggling. He also isn't suddenly shit.

All our players can't play to their best because they can't quite grasp the system yet. Unfortunately you can only get practice in competitive matches.

I've decided that I can't get angry with them. They just need to sort their game out.

Forget about the football, I LOVE cheese and onion sarnies. Good shout my friend, good shout.

Vertonghen: Poch's approach will come good

JAN VERTONGHEN, MAURICIO POCHETTINO, TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR, PREMIER LEAGUE,FOURFOURTWO

Jan Vertonghen is convinced Mauricio Pochettino’s analytical approach will eventually pay dividends at Spurs.

The Argentine succeeded Tim Sherwood in the summer having shone at Southampton, leading the south coast club to an eighth-placed finish last season and playing plenty of attractive football along the way.

But his methods are still to be fully embraced by his new troops at White Hart Lane, where Tottenham have suffered four defeats in their last five league games.

Juande Ramos was given the boot the last time Spurs lost four home league matches in five, in October 2008, and after seeing his charges booed off on Sunday, Pochettino admitted he would need to ‘change the mentality’ of his players before they next take to the field against Hull following the international break.

In the aftermath of their latest setback - beaten 2-1 by Stoke - striker Emmanuel Adebayor claimed the team ‘are not getting the message’.

But Vertonghen, an unused substitute against the Potters, believes the Spurs supremo will come good if he is afforded the time by chairman Daniel Levy.

“Pochettino loves to analyse games and gives more tactical meetings [than Sherwood],” he told FourFourTwo.

“He approaches everything in detail and in the end we will profit because of that. He loves a good conversation and detail and I think he is good for us.

“We try to play more from the back, with more pressing and a new formation so it takes some time. We have a lot of players so he needs time for everyone to fit.”

He's a big twat yes, but he's no beast... soft as muck. I've never really rated him, even when everyone else did. Had one decent season before he got crocked but he's merely reverted to type in my opinion.

Are you
Having endured 1995 - 2005, this is smoooooooooooth sailing. Our players are better than this, the lot we had in the later nineties weren't.

I managed to enjoy Rebrov being somewhat semi-slick technically. Now I can enjoy Lamela, Soldado and Eriksen showing some noice details.

Also, there's our belgian sex machine (no homo) Nacer Chadli. I predicted before the season that he would bag 15 goals in all competitions. That's looking somewhat promising.

And our injury list is baffling. There's hardly any!

Are you from Norfolk?!!

Thought I'd escape the Mrs and pop to the Winchester! :)

Love Eric Dier's attitude. Think that boy will be one hell of a player!

If anyone wants me I'll be slumped under the dart board, surrounded by empty shot glasses, stinking of piss, and mumbling about VDV.

Nah, some bald dwarf in a suit took it all.

That guy again!

He's a weird bloke. Never buys his mates the drinks they ask him for.

Last week he was asked to get a couple of beers and he ended up ordering an Archers & Lemonade and a small glass of port...
