as per the ITK last night, not sure I would class the permanent transfer of Diarra and a one year loan of Canales as "Fucking Massive"

I would of thought....

Loan - one of Benzema/Higuain/Kaka (with subsidised wages of course!)

Just can't see it being Kaka at all, he'll still want to prove to others and himself that he deserves to be in Real Madrid's team after being injured for a long period.

Sorry Archibald, but I hate comments like this. Big teams have depth. Its how you compete in the Premier League, the Champions League, plus the Cups and WIN. He would arguably be our 4th best player (behind the three you listed) plus the three you named play 3 different positions.

Agree with this, but I think Mata is technically almost as gifted as Modric and VDV, and for me moreso than Bale.

By technical I mean things like touch, passing, keeping the ball, working tight spaces etc

I doubt it's Kaka. I suggested Kaka as the answer to the 'cretin' cryptc a couple of weeks ago and a mod came on and stated explicitly "It's NOT Kaka!".

Canales Has confirmed himself he is going to Valencia on a two year loan.
I still think its only Diarra coming from Madrid. Benzema no chance, Kaka doesnt want to leave Madrid, Higuain wouldnt come either.
The only player i can really see coming on loan is Morata. Right now he is top scorer in the under 21 championship and if we get rid of Crouch, Defoe and Keane, could be a good option as backup for our marquee striker signing.

I would think Madrid would let one cm leave, not both. If we get Diarra, they would keep Granero along with Khedira fir backups to Xabi and Sahin.

So what are the thoughts then?

Diarra permanent and either Benzema or Kaka loan, with people leaning towards Kaka due to various Cryptic stuff?

Think we would be the perfect club for Kaka at this stage of his career, he would be idolised. However would Redknapp know what to do with him? (don't fancy Kaka RW)and how would VDV feel about the arrival.
