And if he goes on to emulate Ronaldo and scores 30 - 40 goals his worth then would be £120m+ this boy is only going to get better selling him now is the short sighted view and will not move THFC forwards at all. What do you think that the whole £80m will go back into the team?? dont be so naive. We have a gift right now a truly remarkable player and half you lot want to swap him for a bag of cash? Beggars belief!!!!! :banghead:

it's comments like this that make me cry and laugh at the same time. What are tuesday's lottery numbers please mystic kev?

Nowt then today really. To be expected. Only teams who pay over the odds get very early deals done in general.

If there was a world record bid lodged and it managed to drop through the grapevine to a random poster then why has the World Media not gone nuts over this? I have no doubts it was passed on in good faith, but there's little chance a world record bid could get through to a random FTL poster and not have been spread around to the press.

I think Real Madrid's president would be first to tell the media of there world record bid for Bale, before anyone else had a chance of saying it first lol.

Pretty sure it would be posted on a twitter account which ends in the letters ITK - that's where all the most kosher stuff is!?

Zidane would be a close 2nd.

Yer would prob hold a conbined press conference with them both holding a Real Madrid shirt with Bale on the back with a big check with the bid amount on it! But would say at the end " We are 100% not tapping bale up! We are just declaring our interest in him" LOL!

I would laugh my arse off in between crying my eyes out if Levy was to sell Bale to Barca, after all this Real Madrid shite.

Everyone says we would have to accept a world record bid, i dont agree and ill tell you something else Levy would wank himself silly to be the chairman who turned it down. :p

Some right Nervous Ninny behaviour going on in here.

Please pinch your various collection of salts. Maybe even fire up the kettle for a breather. I expect you could also whack on the ol' PS3 or Xbox 360 for a cheeky FIFA sesh. In fact, I might do all of those things.

Suggest you all do the same as applicable.

It would make absolutely no sense to accept any bids for Bale this year with the amount of time left on his current deal.

The money will still be on offer next Summer if he wants to go.

Added to this if he has another great year the price could go even higher, we will get higher commercial revenues with him, can attract better players and the fact he is on the road to becoming one of the best players in the World will also help us attract a stadium sponsor.
