I'd love to see a player come through who isn't a "solid" or "tidy" midfield option. Hope we give him a chance while Kane is out.

Yeah like a Foden type. Even L'Arse have a few technical CM/AM coming through. Our academy is a joke in terms of producing technical players,.

Need to do what Chelsea did with Tammy Abraham and loan him out to clubs where he'll get at least 30 games a season under his belt. Surely it's better for his development to be playing regular first-team football even if it's at Championship level than being on the Spurs first-team bench with little or no game time.
Still think he's 6 months/ a year off that yet. All for loaning him but at the earliest would do it in the summer. I think there's a danger you can send somebody out when they're too young and they can suffer from being bullied on the pitch at lower levels as well as encountering the wrath of an incompetent manager. Reality is if he went and had a poor first few games he'd probably be out of a team for the rest of his loan.

Players not being given a chance or having their development mismanaged doesn't equate to not producing them

Why is Hercules saying he had an operation ? Is he getting confused with Bowden. Absolutely no knowledge of him having an operation has been fit for international duty every break and has been training every week since then.

If he's fit, I'd like to see him given a chance. At least on the bench! I know he's really young, but Moura and Son up front in a team that can't control games isn't working. He can't possibly be any worse than our current options.

Mourinho is definitely over egging the injury situation. Obviously Kane Sissoko are big misses. But we have 30 players and 3 out, he’s talking like we are down to bare bones. I’m almost convinced Parrott being left out is just a transfer leverage by Jose otherwise it really makes little sense to not be on bench.

Maybe Mourinho just doesn't think he's good enough or ready yet? I don't know why Mourinho would sacrifice results when he knows Levy won't spend anyway

Anyone know the situation with his family? Just wondering if it would be an issue to uproot him and his folks again so soon after moving over from Ireland, if he were to go out on loan somewhere?

The article a while ago with Andros that talked about how tough he found it being on loan with very little in the way of life outside of training is interesting. I think that, particularly for the younger players - it's not just about the football side.

There are so many clubs in and around London he could go to, though. Orient, Barnet, QPR (maybe next season), Reading, MK Dons, Charlton, Luton, Brentford, even Fulham, although they probably will always have a big-name striker.

He could still live where he is right now and play at any of those.

Weirdly if he was at Utd or Chelsea he would prob have played a few games this season in the Premier League.

Apparently Charlton want him on loan for the season, although mourinho said he won’t be going, who knows
