Hate to say it but the likes of Citeh Chelski and the Scum are definately in a different league and are on a run in the 2nd part of the season. Most of their players featured in quality Intl's recently and high scoring FAC games and have upped their game. Cant see our women stopping 3 losses - 4 if we include the Russian mob who we have to play twice within 3 weeks. Its Reading we have to beat (next game) as they have a game in hand over us and we need to get some distance on them as dropping 12 points will be hard to hide.

WSL Arsenal v Reading tomm so lets hope those down the road win to stave off the Reading advance towards our ladies points tally.
Then we need a WIN againt them when we visit in the next game .. this would give us an 8 point gap lead in readiness for our next 3 games where we will have a hard time collecting any points. Our only chance is againt Manure as we could possibly fight for a draw but just cannot see us winning againt a much improved Citeh and Scum side.

Well our men's team are in disarray and r freefalling yet again after last night's poor effort against another resiliant side who wanted the win more. That is the attitude our ladies need to have this weekend against Reading and we need the front line to start scoring with ease and to get rid of the panic play when the white posts come into sight.

The ladies need to be as ruthless as the Scum did against Reading last night ... they were resiliant until the first goal and we have to match and better that to break them down. It is a winnable game but they will know we are not that good on the wings and up front ... we def need Korpela back in goal for this one.

Sunday's game is a tough game and a must win. I will be unable to watch live this week for the first time this season. Thats the trouble with FA Player you cannot save the game and watch later so will have to wait for the hi's. Good luck ladies

having just seen the Cup game tonight I do not see how we can match Citeh anymore even at home .. they have improved so much since the Jan window. So if we drop points against Reading dont expect to gain anymore back for the next 4 weeks and then disappointment may set in for the remaining games. Why the Reading game is so so important to win.

Same old story of dominating a game but failing to take any of the many chances.

If they finish 5th as I suspect then it will be deserved and probably better than expected at the start of the season.

However, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal next and, sadly, don't see us getting anything from those games.

Sounds so much like the men's team....

Goes to show we aint got the talent where it matters ... up front and on the wings
The Scum well and truely opened up this team last week .. you would think they watched that vid a few times but clearly not
Dropped 2 massive points and agree - the next 3 games will be big defeats.

Stats ... the most fouls
the most possession
15 shots but only 3 on target ..... simply not good enough
Using a defender as an attacker when we have a striker on the bench in Tang ??? and not even used
At least Korpella is back in goal .. great to see

Am I losing the plot? I could have sworn I got an email saying tickets for the game vs Arsenal at the Emirates were available to buy via Tottenham's ticketing. But now I can't see anything. I know generally that you're meant to buy women's tickets from the home ground, I'm wondering what made me email them to say it was okay, I can get tickets via Tottenham when I can't find a thing. (this is also a bit more confusing as the men's updates are now arriving in my inbox as Spurs Women). Did anyone else get an email saying this? Did I dream it? Who knows!

Not losing the plot, found the link - it was only a news article, they didn't email Season Ticket holders. So here it is for everyone if you want an affordable afternoon at a small stadium ;-)

Just seen the hi's and yes we had chances galore but the panic is still there when in the last 3rd.
Percival and Neville are not attackers - yes they have both done well the past weeks but we still cannot finish off moves without panic. Even Williams had a golden chance and yet didnt take one more controlled step back or forward to get a better shot around the defender at goal.
The WSL needs VAR as the ball was over the line in the 2nd and yet the Ref nor linesman didnt see it A m a z ing .. so a 1 goal lead went without any check. Not good enough when so much at stake.

Once again RS says the same ol after-match interview thing ... we have to learn how to do this and do that so then why play players who r not natural goal scorers up front when you have a striker on the bench and not get used?
Yes we defended well but it was'nt total domination - they had their chances and any one of them could have gone in (all on target). It was not all one way traffic.
You cant win a game if you cannot score and we didnt really test their keeper at all (only 5 on target) - all panic shots or weak attempts like the heading. There is no way playing like this and with this set of players playing out of position as they are that we will gain any points from the next 3 games. I would go as far and say that we will not get any for the next 5 or 6 as it will be so hard to turn up the confidence after losing the next 3 and then try turn that around in the 4th (Villa) ... and the 5th is Chelski again - another thumping then try turn things around in the 6th game (Everton) and then there is game 7 - the end against Leicester who thrashed us in the Cup. Good chance we will not even get another point unless we can draw the odd game. I know it sounds demoralising - but where is next win gonna come from ... I just cannot see one.

Neville has been surprisingly good on the wing (and Ale pretty good in Neville's normal position). However, not playing Tang when goalscoring has been the biggest problem remains a mystery. Simon is getting better and that may be down to playing more games and actually acclimatizing to the league. As such perhaps Tang needs more games; she linked up well the last time she did start. I'd play her up front with Williams and Simon just behind.

I also prefer Korpella in goal; the constant changing of goalkeeper has definitely been strange.

Have to add a word of praise for Harrop who is one of the most ungainly full backs you could ever see. She certainly tries hard, never gives up and has been good defensively of late.

I agree Gary .. Harrop has got much better since Xmas but still takes too much time in clearing the ball - always takes the steadying tap beforehand and she doesnt have much speed to get back when things go wrong - Good defender though. Bartrip has been an excellent signing and alongside Shelina has been rock solid. Our defence with Korpela is solid and the new Finn with Clemaron has shored up midfield nicely. Even the new one Schnaderbach looks solid.
We have to find better players for the wings and forward line in the Summer and get rid of the likes of Ubogagu Addison Naz Ayanne Green ... maybe Williams and Percival also need to be moved as they will not get any better.
As for Neville .. yes she really gives all and at least scores when she gets the chance.

Dont quite understand what is going on with new Defender signing Gracie Pearse ... we sign her and loan her to Crystal Palace yet every vid on training she is there with the ladies so why bother in the loan? .. she could of been brought back into the squad in Jan to try bolster the bench up a bit. Shame she is not a striker - we need more up at the front .. not so at the back.
