Bloody hell, we’ve had some much air clearing we might reverse global warming!
Oh my. That is exceptional.
Bloody hell, we’ve had some much air clearing we might reverse global warming!
I’m not against a manger until the end of the season if this doesn’t improve but just not harry ,no disrespectAll jokes aside I could see the benefit of appointing a manager short term that woul inflate their egos and let them express themselves if Poch were to go.
Just so it's clear I've never wanted Poch to go, but things have to change with him and quick. If he drops this crazy obsession with the diamond and listens to the players I can see him staying if he doesn't then I think things will very quickly become untenable.
There all professionals. They would be risking their big day day if another club see's them acting unprofessional by not trying, and they'd certainly be risking it by not playing well.Sounds like what Harry Kane would say.
I recall him declaring our title credentials after the first game against Aston Villa.
But is that the reality, if you only have 6 months contract left, do you really want to get a serious injury and risk your big pay day?
Based on an extremely limited time span and essentially a 'hunch' that he'll do ok.The context being that Sissoko is currently our best option in that position regardless of the fact that we have other natural options there.
We just conceded 7 goals and our full back areas were exposed, we need to build some confidence in the back line, is KWP gonna build going to do that?
Based on an extremely limited time span and essentially a 'hunch' that he'll do ok.
The focus should be about what happens ahead of our fullbacks and the work rate (or lack of) provided in terms of covering and avoiding one on one situations.
Poch quoted today as hoping he's still at Spurs over five years from now, has been the best bit of news from the club all week. He's handled recent attempts to undermine him and Spurs with great dignity, retaining his calm, level-headed approach to problems, and underlining what a gem we have in him and his staff.
Of course it's just the kind of news the mockers, destabilisers and campaigners against Spurs, won't want to make much of, not least because in the medium and long-term it cuts the ground from under the soap-opera storylines about Spurs that is their stock-in-trade.
Especially when available managers right now include Massimiliano Allegri & Jose Mourinho. I dont think Mourinho would be right for this squad but i'd take him any day of the week and twice on Sundays over Redknapp.I’m not against a manger until the end of the season if this doesn’t improve but just not harry ,no disrespect
If they did that, I'd be thinking 'ain't no surprise'.If Poch employs the diamond formation, maybe the crowd should sing: "Love on the Rocks" by yup Neil Diamond
Mate I can't stand the bloke, and I'd like to think I've made that fairly clear in the past. I think a motivator short term though would be far more beneficial than anything else tbh.I’m not against a manger until the end of the season if this doesn’t improve but just not harry ,no disrespect
You wasn’t even a fan when Refknapp was the manager so what do you know?
I only want to see him play there if we are playing 3 at the back and he's a wing back. I think its unfair to play him there, just like it was unfair to play Sanchez there. If he has a stinker at right back it's another stick to beat Poch with. He will have to think about that in his team selection.
Speaks volumes of our summer transfer activity that we didn't sign a right back when lots of us were desperate for one. It's almost as if we could see this coming more than the club!
Poch is also a motivator. Plus we do not have the players to run that 442.Mate I can't stand the bloke, and I'd like to think I've made that fairly clear in the past. I think a motivator short term though would be far more beneficial than anything else tbh.
Oh the famous Shirley Bassey Diamonds are foreverIf Poch employs the diamond formation, maybe the crowd should sing: "Love on the Rocks" by yup Neil Diamond
This was, in my opinion, the right thing to say isn’t je right way. As Trix says it is important that the unit become a unit again and are all on the same page. As I said last night I understand him wanting to transition the system but all parties need to understand what they are doing.Just reading that he says he stays for 5 more years... Am I right.?
Hes an outstanding manager though. I wouldn't mind as long as he gets it right.
Love Poch
