the problem is, Jose or Allegri would come in and say ‘I need £200M in January to sort this shot out’. Daniel would fill his pants.

I’d say Rafa Benitez is more likely - used to working with no money, Levy’s dream!
I think, hand on heart he'd be fantastic. Isnt he at a Chinese club though?

I've been saying this since Newcastle and got ridiculed by most on here. We've been in decline for two and a bit years, and disastrous since we lost any chance of the title at Burnley. Nearly no manager turns around something that's gone this badly wrong. He'll always have a place in our hearts but his time is up.

In no order. We will be after the Norwich Farke, Wolves dude or the Saints cat. A nice “project” for someone.

great. another ‘project’. another 5 years of ‘learning’.

trouble is, anyone but a big name, and some of our stars will be looking elsewhere.

players like Kane, Son don’t have time to invest another 5 years to probably not win anything.

As long as JJ says Poch is our man, I’ll stand behind him.
I'm on record as saying that JJ's info is the only ITK that I don't apply truckloads of salt to, but why would your opinion about whether Poch is the right man for us or not be dependent on JJ's opinion? I mean, you've every right to think like that, but on a matter of opinion like that I'm curious as to why JJ's take would sway your own view more than what you can see for yourself - either good or bad - out there on the pitch?

Guardiola or Klopp would most likely win the league with our current squad btw. The players aren’t playing for the manager

oh yea, i wouldnt mind Rafa. that wasn’t a slight on him, more just saying he’s not a manager who demands huge investment.

but yea, he only recently joined a chinese club. could still be done though.

Anyone vouching for a project has lost the plot. It would be nice to win something one of these days.

for anyone wishing Poch gone. Just bear this in mind. The next manager will be appointed by Levy...the man who, in the big scheme of things, only very, very recently thought Tim Sherwood was a good choice of manager

Because if Poch is 100% commited, like JJ says, then I believe he deserves time to turn this around.

We were a completely different sized club back then

What happens to Poch if Munich dick us 3 nil tonight? Does it make him a worse manager or that he's lost the dressing room or that we were beaten by a better team?

I got all those wrong. I didn’t think they were much better than us. We just let them.

Whatever anyone says trying to pin on Levy, we have a hugely talented squad and Poch is still playing the completely wrong formation that is exposing us and the players probably think is dumb.

As I’ve said till I’m blue in face it’s so obvious to play 4-2-3-1 and you cannot play Winks, Ndombele and Sissoko in same midfield as too unbalanced!

Play Sissoko at right back and see how Winks / Ndombele do in a less narrow midfield with three attacking players ahead of them (and Ndombele not having to struggle wide of the diamond).

And if we’re still too soft put Dier in place of one of them or play a 4-5-1 and stick Moura and Son wide of the three of them.

Wonder if his book didn’t help, when he’s bringing out a book whilst still in the job been a good idea?

A book while you barely started your managerial career is cringey for sure. He think he's a way better coach than he is.
